As I got home, I met my parents and saw them beaming with happiness. All they talked about was my childhood and whether the new baby would be a boy or a girl. I asked what the doctor said and if there were any dangers, but they assured me everything was fine—better than fine, in fact. The doctor said my mother was in excellent health, even compared to younger first-time mothers, and had prescribed some vitamins. That was it. Reassured, I went out to get them congratulatory gifts.

I called Blackie and told him we were celebrating tonight. We went to a nightclub, got hooked up with some girls, and even got laid. The next day, I made a list of people I wanted to recruit, including the major members of Zero Wing from my previous life, minus Aqua Rose and Gentle Snow. There were other talents too, like Iron Forge, Yan Wuming (aka Invincible Swallow), and others I knew about.

That was all good, but now I really needed a complete legacy to train these people. No matter how I thought about it, I would have to bleed for a chance to buy one. I finally decided to sell a reserve slot for the upper zone. I couldn't wait any longer—if I waited until God's Domain opened, even the slot wouldn't be enough. But I didn't want to lose too much in this transaction, so I had to choose my partner wisely. I thought of Phoenix Rain from Dragon-Phoenix Pavilion or Secret Pavilion—they were the safest bets, as they had been trustworthy partners in my past life.

However, they only had legacies up to the Void Realm as super first-rate guilds. For now, I decided to call them.

---

Phoenix Rain (aka Feng Qianyu) was sitting with Nine Dragons Emperor and Ku Rong when someone approached and said, "Miss Feng, someone called Mister Shi Feng has invited you and the guild masters to Heaven Rumble Training Center."

"What?" Nine Dragons Emperor yelled, standing up with the others. They all looked at Phoenix Rain. "You know Shi Feng?" Ku Rong also wanted to ask the same question.

"I don't," she replied, equally confused. Why would such a big shot from the upper zone invite her?

They remained silent for a while before Ku Rong spoke. "Anyway, we'll have to go. Let's not delay and get moving." Ku Rong understood what a 3-Grade Mental Strength Master meant better than the others. As the only one in Dragon-Phoenix Pavilion who had entered the upper zone, he knew they couldn't ignore the invitation.

At the same time, a similar scene unfolded at Secret Pavilion, with Dawn Jade and Yuan Tiexin heading to Zero Wing Corporation.

---

I was sitting in my office when Liang Jing informed me they had arrived. I told her to let them in and stood up as they entered.

"Hello, Guild Masters. I'm Shi Feng. It's very nice to meet you all," I said with a polite smile.

They all felt relieved—it didn't seem like this was going to be a bad thing.

After some small talk, I said, "I know you're wondering why I invited you so suddenly. As you may know, I just returned from the upper zone after gaining a High 3-Grade Authority and received some benefits—for example, eight permanent reserve slots: three in the middle layer and five in the lower. I was wondering if you're interested."

The guild masters were flabbergasted. They instantly came to the same conclusion: I must want something of great value in return. Both assumed I was after shares in their guilds and began silently calculating how much to offer.

I chuckled. "What, you don't want to?"

"No, sir, it's not that. Any guild would welcome your investment—even super guilds would jump at the opportunity. May we ask why you chose us?" Jade asked, hoping to assess the situation fully before committing.

"As I'd expect from an information broker. You've already started calculating. But this information will cost you if you want it," I replied. "Let me first tell you what I want: I plan to create a guild and need a complete legacy to nurture experts."

They fell silent, thinking they'd misheard. Why would someone buy something like that when they could just take over a guild directly through coercion or money?

"You seem to be wondering why I don't just buy a guild directly. Well, it's a matter of taste—I prefer building things from the ground up, as you might have guessed from my corporation's name."

Zero Wing Corporation was considered a miracle in the business world. In less than five years, it had grown from nothing into one of the most powerful corporations, one that even the top 500 Fortune corporations didn't dare offend.

"Okay, here's my offer. I know Secret Pavilion has an almost complete legacy. I'll pay with a middle-layer reserve slot. For Dragon-Phoenix Pavilion, I offer a basic one." I paused, then added, "If Secret Pavilion's Guild Master wants the information I mentioned, I'll also give you a basic slot along with it—though I don't recommend it, as what you'd gain from the information is far less valuable than a middle-layer reserve slot." I didn't want to cheat him. While heavily investing in nurturing experts could bring benefits later in God's Domain, those same benefits could be gained from entering the middle layer.

"But isn't this too much of a loss for you, sir?" Yuan Tiexin asked, genuinely confused by the sudden windfall.

"Well, that depends on how you use it."

After some discussion, they both agreed to the transaction. The foundations of Zero Wing were being laid, piece by piece, and with these legacies, my future experts would have the tools they needed to rise. The game was far from over—it was just beginning.
