What if Piccolo Destroyed Android 20?

Piccolo's eyes scanned back and forth throughout the rugged landscape, searching for any sign of the remaining Android. He hissed to himself, the area filled with so many rocks and cracked mountains, it was a gamble to assume any spot was safe. It was bad enough that there was no way to sense the Android's energy, but even worse, it seemed like it had an infinite supply. They could be hiding for hours, even days, if they wanted to.

He looked towards the direction Vegeta had flown, before looking behind him where Gohan and the others were following. The whole ordeal was infuriating, not a few hours ago the Android was casually putting down humans and destroying buildings, but now that it was on the backfoot, now it wanted to hide.

Unbeknownst to Piccolo, this was exactly what Android 20 had planned. He was buying time, hoping to catch one of the Z-Fighters off guard, stealing their energy one-by-one and slowly climbing up the ladder to take them all down.

In the reality you may know, Android 20 would begin by attempting to steal Piccolo's energy, causing the Namekian and Android 20 to enter an intense battle. This battle would lead to Android 20 retreating once more; this time, traveling to his own laboratory and activating Androids 17 and 18; however, this is where the Divergence in our story begins.

In this timeline, Android 20 would attempt to steal another person's energy, spelling a very different reality for the Earth.

In an instant, Piccolo perked up, his antennae twitching as he felt his entire body react to the energy he was sensing. It was Gohan's! And it was weakening very quickly, just as Goku's had when Android 19 had been draining him.

Fueled by adrenaline, Piccolo's aura blazed, as he raced towards where he felt Gohan's energy. Just as he sensed it, there he stood; that... freak of a monster, holding up Gohan's by his neck, the boy's skin beginning to turn white while his eyes rolled back.

"Get away from him!" he roared.

Without a second of hesitation, Piccolo closed the gap between the two, slamming into Android 20, sending him flying and forcing him to release Gohan.

Sensing the surge of power, the other Z-Fighters quickly began making their way to the battlefield, with Krillin quickly giving Gohan a Senzu Bean and healing him.

"So, you finally decide to show yourself, Android..." Vegeta remarked, crossing his arms smugly. "Are you finally ready to die at the hands of a Super Saiyan, or are you going to keep wasting my time?"

Piccolo quickly spoke up, however, removing his turban and cape as he did so.

"Not a chance, Vegeta. You've had your fun with the other one, this one's mine."

The remark would actually make Vegeta cackle, a part of him genuinely amused, before shrugging his shoulders, as if to say 'sure, whatever.'

"I don't care what you do." he remarked. "As long as you keep it from absorbing more energy, like that fool Kakarot did, I couldn't care less."

Piccolo narrowed his eyes.

"Trust me. I'll guarantee that won't happen again."

Android 20 glared at Piccolo.

"While, I admire your confidence, Piccolo. With my data on you, and the energy I've stolen from the child, you're going to have a much harder time-"

The Android's sentence would be cut off by Piccolo punching him right in the face, throwing him backwards again, only to hit him again with another punch to the face. Not letting up, Piccolo continued to clobber the Android with more punches, hitting him in the stomach several times, before slamming him backwards with an uppercut.
