(implied lemon!)
"Mathias told me that you would be my downfall someday. He told me to stay away from you." Tino said, pausing. "Now I see why he told me those things."
"Did he ever explain why I would be your downfall?" Berwald asked, curious as to what sort of things his arch enemy had been telling Tino.
The smaller blonde frowned, and thought for a bit. After a minute, he answered. "He said that I would fall in love with you."
Berwald was silent. He didn't know how to respond to such a direct statement.
"But he also told me to be happy no matter what... and if staying away from you and being happy collide, I don't know what to do." Tino admitted, looking slightly intrigued. "What i'm meaning to say is, if I did fall in love with you, and it made me happy, then that's good. Following directions in the happiness realm...but also breaking rules in the direction of staying away."
Berwald watched the smaller male's facial expressions as he mused over everything aloud.
"But there isn't a chance you'd fall for a good guy." Berwald said suddenly, and Tino looked at him, amused.
"What if I already have fallen for a good guy, hmm? What if I fell for him the instant we touched?" Tino said, smirking. Berwald felt himself being made to walk back over to his cot and sit down. Then Tino went over and opened up the cell door, stepping inside of the prison. He locked the door behind himself, and moved towards Berwald.
"The question is... would the good guy ever fall for the bad guy?" Tino asked, twirling the keys to the cell on a finger.
Berwald could tell what Tino was hinting at, and was honestly a bit surprised. He could feel his face heat up a bit, as his feelings towards the small blonde shifted. And it wasn't Tino's mind games forcing the change, oh no. It was Berwald himself, falling for the enemy.
"I think the good guy could potentially fall for the bad guy, but only if the bad guy changed his ways." Berwald said slyly as Tino advanced.
"I think that could be arranged." Tino stated, boldly sitting on Berwald's lap, wrapping his legs around the other male. "If the bad guy was coaxed a little bit."
"Wow, you're awfully brave, aren't you." Berwald said gruffly, as Tino loosely flung his arms around his neck. 'Lukas and Emil would be horrified if they knew about this right now.' He thought. 'But they don't have to know.'
Tino smiled smugly, and brought his face close to Berwald's. "So... you think you could make me turn good?" He whispered, eyeing the other male's lips.
"If you'll let me." Berwald said, placing wrapping his arms around Tino's waist.
There was a brief pause, before the smaller male spoke. "I'll let you try."
Hesitantly, Tino brought his lips to Berwald's, both of them closing their eyes and preparing for the inevitable. The kiss felt nice, and somehow right. Like it was meant to happen, and that the two were fated to meet in such a way.
Tino deepened the kiss, and gently knocked Berwald backwards onto the cot, still holding onto him. The sudden action startled the taller male slightly, but he just went with it, and kissed back passionately. Soon, they were left lightheaded, and had to break apart for a moment.
"You're doing a pretty good job of convincing me." Tino said breathlessly, and attacked Berwald's lips again.
<Timeskip: half an hour later>
The two had moved from the cell, and were currently cuddling in Tino's bed.
"Yeah. I'll join you." Tino panted, nuzzling Berwald with his head. "Mathias will be really mad though."
"He can't control you, you're an adult and can make your own decisions." Berwald replied, letting the smaller blonde snuggle into him.
Tino sighed. "I know, he just scares me sometimes." He said, absentmindedly tracing a finger over shirtless Berwald's abs. "I'm also wondering where he is. He should've been back by now."
"Lukas probably detained him." Berwald suggested, running a hand through his messed-up hair. "I mean really, those two."
"I know, I know. Mathias has been going on about Lukas for years. It's really starting to bug me." Tino replied, closing his eyes. "Anyway... where do we stand now?"
Berwald thought for a moment. "Lovers seems fitting, after...that." He said, looking away in embarassment.
"Aww, come on, you enjoyed it just as much as I did!" Tino exclaimed. "And lovers sounds perfect." He opened one eye, saw the look on Berwald's face, and giggled. "Stop being all nervous!"
"I just did someone i've been enemies with for as long as I can remember. Of course i'm a bit nervous." Berwald stated, as Tino kept giggling at him.
"Well, I personally don't mind the fact that we were enemies. That even makes things a bit more interesting." Tino said slyly, pressing his body up against the other male's. "I think we should get going back to your place soon, before Mathias comes back."
"Yeah, okay. Let's get dressed." Berwald stated, much to Tino's disappointment.
The duo got their clothes back on, and slipped out of the room. They went down a long hallway to an elevator, and went upward. Throughout the short ride, Tino clung onto Berwald's arm in a cute manner. He liked having someone steady to rely on, someone stronger than him that could keep him safe.
Once they got out of the lair, Berwald lead the way, since he knew where hero headquarters were. 'hopefully the others don't get too touchy about me bringing Tino.' He thought, picking up his lover, and flying into the sky.
