Destroyed

(Here's a late Christmas gift for you guys, since i've been on such a long hiatus.)

I remembered it like it was yesterday. The barren coldness of the snowy landscape, the field of white surrounded by tall pines, the splotches of red littering the freezing wasteland.

He took the only one keeping me sane away from me.

And he wasn't gong to get away with such a thing, without killing me first.

Oh, he'd tried and nearly succeeded, but was stopped by his feelings. Ha, petty stupid emotions that kept him from killing me. How he'd pay for what he'd done...
--------------------------------------------

I stalked outside, coat already thrown on and buttoned. Grabbing my trusty battleaxe, I made my way into the dark woods. Today would be the day that i'd finally get Norge back. I had fully healed from my wounds, and was ready to fight to regain my best friend. I wasn't planning on being merciful to Sve. No no no, if he tried to stop me, I wouldn't spare him.

Trudging briskly through the woods, I went on foot for miles. Determination spurred me onward, along with the blazing fire in my heart. I thought many times of Norge, and hoped desperately that he was unharmed.

My face hardened as I spotted Sve's home in the distance. It only took a few more minutes to sneak around back and climb through a carelessly unlocked window. I tiptoed through the dark house, battleaxe at the ready. Everyone seemed to be asleep, which was good. It made things much easier.

As I walked down the hall, I heard a door creak, and silent footsteps pad towards me. I tensed, and hopped into a closet as silently as I could. A few more minutes passed, before someone opened the door to the closet and peered in.

I could tell it wasn't Sve, by the person's build. They were curvy and small, with an endearing kind of face. It was definitely Fin. Now was my chance to get revenge. I could take Fin away from Sve, as he had done with Norge. It would be so easy to just carry him off...

"Denmark? Why are you standing in the closet at one AM with your axe?" Tino asked, tilting his head to the side innocently. Suddenly, his eyes widened in realisation. He turned, and started to sprint away down the hall to the room he had come from. "Su-saaaan!" He yelled loudly.

"Shit." I swore under my breath, and stepped out of the closet. No more point in hiding, as I had already been found out. I ran a hand through my spikey hair, and tiredly waited for someone to start an attack.

Soon enough, Fin returned with one of Sve's swords. There was a fire in his eyes, that I had only seen in him when he was angry. Very angry.

He ran down the hall and launched himself at me, blade drawn forward in a stabbing motion. I blocked with my axe, and fought off his vicious attacks. He was tough as nails, and I honestly never understood why he hid it under his disguise of cute innocence.

I knew that if Sve appeared, I would be outnumbered, and would most likely be forced to surrender. That wasn't going to happen. I was going to find Norge and get the hell out of here! With another swing of my axe, I forced Tino against the wall, knocking the sword from his grasp. He glared at me as I pressed the axe blade to his throat.

"Show me where Norge is NOW." I threatened, in a low growl. I must have looked sort of scary, for he started to break down and pointed down the hall. I removed the axe, and kicked his sword away. "Take me to him." I demanded again, starting to feel unsafe.

Why hadn't Sve come to Fin's rescue yet? There was definitely something up.

I decided to pick up the sword, and bring Tino along with me. I started opening doors randomly, until Fin stepped in my way. "Don't go in here!" He warned, blocking my way into another room. The little guy looked as though he were about to cry, but as I said, no mercy. This was for Norge.
