[More will be added to this chapter soon. I skipped around a bit while writing this and put a hold on Liz's backstory while being inspired to instead write about other chapters in this book since I was motivated to try and progress the overall story]

I've noticed since coming back to school that my mental health has been improving. Being around my friends helps a ton, but I still can't shake off the never ending urge to do lines from the bag of coke I have had in my room for weeks. I tried drinking instead to distract myself from wanting to get high, but it's starting to not work.

I feel like if it was out of my house, and out of my mom's sight, I wouldn't have the urge to do this anymore. I mean, I went this long without doing it, right?

It's Monday, and almost time for lunch, where I always sit with my friends, plus Sapphire now. I am very happy Angel found someone she's interested in, and to be strong enough to come out of the closet in general. As much as I'd love to be with women, I just haven't had the courage to actually do it, despite the fake confidence I lead on to the world.

Usually I'm the first person to arrive at our table, but today I was the last. Angel was signaling me to sit down in a hurry, so I did.

"Guess who just spoke to me." She asked. "Um...?" I started to respond, trying to think of a way to slip a joke in, but my mind went blank.

"Christina Beemer." She said, clearly confused.

"Fuck that hoe. I don't care if she helped us throw a party, I still can't forgive her for being such a bitch." I responded, harshly.

Ava laughed. "Yeah well, apparently we're on the map now. The whole damn school has been talking about our party since it happened. I didn't even realize it myself until Seth Reynolds said something to me too during Gym class."

I felt ecstatic to know we are being talked about for throwing such an awesome party. That's always been a dream of mine.

"Fuck yeah!" I nearly yelled excitedly. "That's awesome! Why are you guys not as excited about that as me? We'll be talked about for years!"

They all sighed.

"I think that's the problem." Carrie pitched in. "We don't want to be talked about."

I could hardly believe what I was hearing.

"Oh come on you guys! Lighten up. We promised at the beginning of the year we'd make the best out of our senior year. Let's throw another!" I cheerfully suggested.

Ava shot me a dirty look. "Absolutely not. I am not going through that shit again." Angel looked down. "Yeah..." She started to say. "I got my ass chewed out. Not everything went as smoothly as you think. You were too drunk to realize."

I was confused what she meant, but saw Ava get noticeably annoyed.

Before I had a chance to ask what the hell was going on, Carrie started to talk.

"So why don't we have it alone then? Just the five of us, assuming Sapphire wants to join in."

I'm totally down with that idea. However, before I open my loud mouth, I figured I should let Angel consult with her first. I watched her look over at her as Sapphire shook her head yes.

"Are you sure?" Angel asked. "Yes, I want to do something memorable for my senior year too, since I didn't even get to attend the legendary one from earlier."

"Hell yeah!" I exclaimed. "Ava? Are you in?"

She sighed and looked down. "I'll think about it." She responded quietly. I didn't want to push, so instead I responded kindly. "Just let us know.

Sapphire started to speak. "So, what kind of crazy stuff are we going to be doing then?"

I laughed out loud. "Oh hun, whatever you want to do. I know of an abandoned house nearby I've always wanted to check out. Add some drugs and alcohol into the mix, and you have yourself a party."

Her eyes went wide. "Woah, I'm not sure about drugs, unless you mean weed? And visiting an abandoned house is sort of...illegal?" Angel spoke up before I even had a chance to respond.

"She doesn't mean actual drugs babe. And for the abandoned house, you're joking, right Liz?"

I laughed. "Not really, no. And as far as drugs, we can stick to weed, but if you want other shit, I know people."

They all looked at me confused. "Why am I not surprised?" Ava responded, to which I laughed again. "Don't worry, I'm only half joking. Do you smoke pot Sapphire?" I asked.

"Well, I used to. I don't so much anymore." She responded. "Well, that will be provided, along with some vodka. I have a bluetooth speaker to listen to music. It will be chill, we will be fine." I tried reassuring them.

"Yeah, we all need to lighten up." Carrie said. "I'll be upfront and say this, we all have been acting weird lately, and need a break. Let's say fuck it and continue our senior year bucket list."

I patted her on the back. "Yes Carrie, yes!" I exclaimed. "Friday night after school again, let's get fucked up."

"I need it." Ava said suddenly. She does seem a bit off lately, like more off than usual. I didn't want to push though. So I simply responded in a cheery clap.

"I have a car." Sapphire also chipped in. "I can meet you at your house again, Liz, and drive us there." I fucking love her already. "Hell yeah, you're already fitting into our group nicely." I responded.
