Me, Liz, and Ava are pretty messed up, but we managed to gather around Angel and Sapphire while picking up their limp bodies off of each other and laying them side by side.
"Angel, can you try to squeeze your left hand again?" Ava asked. "I...I can't". She managed to spit out. "Oh shit.. guys we need to take them to the hospital!" Ava panicked.
"We need to get them the fuck out of here first!" Liz exclaimed. "Carrie and Ava, you guys carefully carry Sapphire out the window. It seems like she totally passed out".
Even with the room still spinning around me, I still tried to help Sapphire like Liz commanded. However, as soon as we lifted her, Angel started crying.
"Is my girlfriend dead?!" She wailed. I was too focused on trying to not fall over from intoxication to respond to her.
"We already checked her pulse and checked her breathing. She's fine Angel. You're the one who needs to go see a doctor." Ava responded as Liz helped guide us to the window.
She stepped onto the other side and guided Sapphire outside with us. I'm honestly impressed we were able to do this as fucked up as we were.
"Carrie, come out here and attend to Sapphire and find a way to get out of this backyard without hopping the fence." Liz ordered. I nodded my head before hearing Liz and Ava rush over to Angel.
"Angel, can you tell me how many fingers I'm holding up?" I heard Liz ask as she held up her fingers. "I uhhh ... everything is spinning." She responded hazily.
"Do you think this is from the weed and alcohol, or do you think you have a concussion from hitting your head on the wall earlier?" Ava asked her. I guess she did hit her head pretty hard earlier when she fell on top of Sapphire.
"I don't know." Angel whined.
"Help me get her to sit up slowly." Liz said to Ava as she lifted her arm up. I didn't even know what to do with Sapphire. I had no idea how to get out of this backyard without hopping the fence.
"Fuck!!" I heard Angel scream out. "Shhh it's okay, we have to make a sling for you real quick." Liz answered back. "There's no time for that, the Uber is going to be here any minute and he's our escape." Ava said as she basically yanked at Angel's upper body to sit up straight.
"Fucks sake! Apparently now we need to carry them both out." I heard Liz panic. "Look at her Liz! She's totally out of it." I heard Ava respond. "When we get back to your place we need to take them to the hospital, and make it all sound like we were at your place the entire time."
"Right, well help me get Angel up and out of this house." Liz ordered as I saw them lift her up. "Another special delivery" Liz managed to joke as she slid her out through the window to me on the other side of the house.
"Guys there's no gate back here." I tell Liz and Ava. "There's no gate? There's got to be a gate back here!" Liz panicked again as I watched her scope the fence. "If there was a gate, don't you think we would have come in that way in the first place?" Ava asked. "Not if it was locked from the other side!" Liz snapped.
"So now we have to kick down the fucking fence? There's no way we can throw two bodies over that tall ass fence without accidentally killing them!" Ava yelled out. "Keep your voice down!" Liz snapped again in a harsh whisper.
I felt my phone buzz.
"Guys, the Uber driver just texted me and said he got stuck by a train and that he's running late. We still have time!" I exclaimed behind them. "So yeah we kick down the fence, grab Sapphire and Angel, and fucking run."
"There's no way I can run away while holding a passed out girl!" Ava complained. "Shut up! We're running out of time." Liz hissed as she walked over to me. "Angel, can you try to stand up and walk?" She asked her.
