Chapter 15: The Magic Mirror

I haven't communicated with Jason and his family in many years. I still hold resentment towards Jason and his family because of the betrayal by Jason's father, Ben. He revealed our family's identity as witches and wizards, leading to a lot of people hating us. Although I understand that Aerial and Peter should have faced consequences for their actions, Ben didn't need to expose us. Many people wrongly believed that I was responsible for trying to harm Kyle Brooks, despite Kyle and his family not believing that I would do such a thing. As a result, I lost my job at the hospital and have been struggling to find new employment.

Jason and Ben have been trying to talk to me, but I have been ignoring them. I know that their feelings got hurt, but I didn't care. I haven't spoken to Arthur Connor since we ended our relationship in high school. I loved Arthur, but I guess he didn't feel the same way. Since high school, I haven't dated anyone because I don't trust anyone.

"I used to live in Seattle for a while, but I moved to New York to get away from Jason and his family. Fortunately, my Uncle Paul helped me get a job at a hospital in New York, and I'm really enjoying it there. When I got home today, I found a package in the mail. I opened it and found a beautiful crystal mirror inside. It turns out that the package was from Isabelle, and she wrote that the mirror was a key to all dimensions. I couldn't believe that Isabelle would trust me with something so important, especially when I know that Loki has been trying to get all the main keys to all the dimensions."

I am aware that Loki has been attempting to overthrow my great uncle, King Henry, causing worry among my great aunts. Even my grandmother is concerned about King Henry's well-being. Unfortunately, I never got the chance to meet my great-uncle as he went to Silver City on Mars to become king before I was born. Silver City is located in a hidden dimension. Isabelle is aiding my uncle in dealing with Loki. Additionally, I know that Ben and his elder son are also assisting my great uncle. I hope that they are successful in stopping Loki.

Jackson

Lily and I have been partners for a year, and I have developed feelings for her. I didn't want to start a relationship with her while keeping secrets, so I decided to tell her everything.

I said, "I really like you, and I hope we can be more than friends. But first, there's something I need to tell you. I am a werewolf, and my real name is Prince Peter. My father is King Edward."

To my surprise, Lily already knew that I was a werewolf. She revealed that her Aunt Rose had told her about it. Lily also had a secret of her own - she was a witch. She was afraid that I might not accept her when I found out, but I assured her that it didn't matter to me.

"I don't hold you responsible for your aunt's actions. I've loved you since the day we met. Would you like to go to the movies with me?" I asked.

"I'd be thrilled to go to the movies with you!" Lily responded with joy.

Months had passed and I was finally ready to ask Lily to marry me. I had bought her an engagement ring, but I was terrified that she might say no. I picked her up and we went to an elegant restaurant.

"I know we've only been dating for a couple of months, but you are my best friend and I hope you'll agree to be my wife," I said nervously.

"I love you too, Jackson, and I would love to be your wife!" Lily replied, beaming with happiness. I gently placed the ring on her finger. Later, we announced to our families that we were getting married. Everyone was overjoyed, including my dad.

I informed Elizabeth that Lily and I were planning to tie the knot. She was overjoyed for me. Though, she expressed her disappointment as Eric prohibited her from attending our wedding. I personally felt Eric was being unreasonable. Robin, Jason, and James were going to serve as my best men.
