"You know I almost thought you was out celebrating the new year." The feminine voice made Kianna smile as she turned around. Her baby sister Kaila was one of her favorites. "Mama called over here so make sure you let her know you're alright."

Kianna nodded her head. "She's got some good ass service to be on a damn cruise."

"I think she bought the package that includes WiFi. When she first called I was acting like I couldn't understand her." Kaila laughed making Kianna join as she kicked out of her shoes. "Don't wait up for Keys tonight. His ass is out and about like he don't got no home training."

"Alright thanks for letting me know."
Kianna smiled. She knew her sister did that because the last time her brother called himself creeping into the their three bedroom home she almost killed him. Kaila stared at her as she walked closer.

"Is everything okay? You look a little shook up. Was the hotel having something?"

"They were but it wasn't nothing I couldn't handle. I did something stupid."

"Stupid like what? If you quit, that's fine. You know mama would cover your portion of the rent. Even if she claim she ain't helping us no more." Kaila smiled. Kianna adored her baby sister. She was the epitome of grace.

Kaila was five foot five. She had her head on her shoulders. Currently she was enrolled in the local community college. Once their mother had gotten sick, they all had figured out one way or another to be closer to her. None of the Moore children could picture their lives without their mother in it.

Kaila shared the same skin tone as the rest of her family. She had big bug eyes and wore square glasses. Her hair stopped at her shoulders. She kept it in a bob with bangs. "I didn't quit." Kianna spoke realizing she kept taking long pauses when she spoke with people tonight.

"So what could you have done? Let me guess." Kaila tilted her head to the side. She shifted her weight from her left side to the right. Her thick hips poking out as she did so. Kaila was the biggest in her family. But she wasn't built sloppy. She just had enough hips, ass and titties to share with the family and still have a nice ration for herself.

"You locked yourself in one of those rooms and let a fine man eat your kitty?"

Kianna scoffed. "I kissed a stranger."

Kaila placed her acrylic nail to her lips. "Do tell me more." She egged her sister on. Kaila prayed for her sister to find someone who could deal with her rough around the edges demeanor every day. She wanted to share stories with her sister badly, but knew that men didn't really fall into interests for Kianna.

"I got stuck in the rain when it first started. He pulled up. Well his bodyguard pulled up and let him out of the truck. Our eyes met. I stared like an idiot. Then all of sudden he's in front of me telling me he's going to walk me to my car."

"Sissy, we Stan a gentleman. Ain't too many in this city." Kaila led them to the kitchen. She switched on the light and Kianna dropped her bag.

"I mean he caught me staring at him. Maybe he thought I was slow or something."

Kaila laughed. "You know damn well that's not what he thought. I fried some catfish. Little rice and broccoli and cheese. I know that's not something I would normally put together but it's all we had until tomorrow."

"Why didn't you tell me to go to the store?" Kianna frowned.

"Continue to tell me about that man." Kaila pointed the fork in her hand at her. Kianna smiled as she took a seat on a stool pulled up to the island.

"I mean we didn't talk really. He asked me how long I served. Told me about his dad who did then I kissed him. Well he carried me to my car when lightening struck. Then I kissed him."
