Dean went into a motel to get them all a room only to realize his father had been there, so they got the room number and broke in to see if he was there.

They shut the door behind them to see a small room covered in all sorts of newspapers and books about the paranormal.

"I don't think he's been here for a couple days." Dean said after smelling a bad cheeseburger.

"Salt, cat's-eye shells. He was worried, trying to keep something from coming in." Sam said, seeing a protection circle around part of the room.

Vinnie looked around at a few different articles and snapped her fingers, "It's a woman in white! Like La Llorona," She said.

Dean sighed, "Well that's great... Dad would've found the corpse and destroyed it. But since she's still here, we've gotta do it."

"She might have another weakness." Sam replied.

Dean walked closer to Vinnie and Sam, "No, Dad would want to make sure. He'd dig her up. Does it say where she's buried?"

Vinnie shook her head, "Nope. We're in the dark on that." She sighed, looking down at Moth who was staring up at the rotten cheeseburger.

"If I were Dad, though, I'd go ask her husband. If he's still alive." Sam said, to which Vinnie nodded.

So, Sam looked for the address while Dean got showered. Vinnie eventually went outside and sat down on the curb.

Vinnie grabbed a cigarette pack from her bag, pulled one out and lit it. She looked out at the parking lot in front of her, staring so long she eventually zoned out.

By the time she was halfway finished with her cigarette, both boys bursted out the front door.

"You smoke?" Dean said, a hint of tone in his voice.

Vinnie looked up at him and shrugged, "Most people do, Dean." She stood up and he snatched the cigarette from her, taking one puff before dropping it and stomping out the flame.

Sam glanced at his brother, weirded out by what seemed to be almost like... protectiveness of Vinnie.

Vinnie was just as confused as Sam, Dean was being weird.

Dean broke the silence, "Well, I'm going to grab something to eat. You guys want anything?"

Vinnie glanced at Sam who shook his head, she looked back at Dean, "Sure..."

-

Vinnie sat across from Dean at the dinner, "I'm glad that you and I can spend some time together." He said, giving Vinnie a sly smile.

Vinnie returned Dean's grin with a tight awkward smile, then looked down at her plate.

"You haven't eaten much." Dean commented, motioning towards her burger.

Vinnie shrugged with a sigh, "I guess I lost my appetite..." She said, looking over at the waiter who'd brought them their food.

Dean turned his attention to the waiter as well who flashed Vinnie a grin and made his way over to them.

Vinnie smiled shyly as the waiter got closer, he was tall with shaggy brown hair and dark brown eyes.

"Hey," The waiter greeted, completely ignoring Dean's existence.

"Hey..." Vinnie grinned, twirling a lock of hair around her index finger. The waiter chuckled and leaned against the edge of the table, "How's the food?" He asked, eyeballing Vinnie.

Dean sat there, his knee bouncing and his eyes fixed directly on the waiter.

"It's so delicious..." Vinnie replied, shoving a french fry into her mouth.

The waiter slid her a small piece of paper and winked. Dean cleared his throat loudly, finally getting the waiter's attention. The waiter glanced his way, looking him up and down. "Who's this dude?" The waiter asked.

Dean leaned back in his seat with his arms crossed, "I'm her boyfriend."

Vinnie scoffed and raised an eyebrow, "Nope, no he's not. I'm babysitting him."

The waiter laughed and placed his hand on top of Vinnie's gently, then walked away.

Vinnie smiled as she watched him leave, then opened the piece of paper, grinned and put it away.

"What's that?" Dean asked.

"Nothing." Vinnie replied only to have Dean grab her wrist and snatch the paper from her hand.

"Dean! What the-"

"His number? Vinnie, we've got no time to fool around." He ripped the paper in half.

Vinnie grabbed the piece and shoved it in her bag, "You're such a prick." She said, then got up and left the diner.

-

Dean and Vinnie arrived in the parking lot, Vinnie quickly got out and made a beeline back to the motel room.

Dean got out and leaned against his car, cops showed up not long after and began to make their way over. He quickly called Sam who alerted Vinnie that they needed to book it. Vinnie grabbed Moth and put him in her bag.

Sam and Vinnie were able to sneak out the back door of the motel room and make their way to Joseph Welch's house, the widowed husband of Constance Welch.

Sam did the majority of the interrogating as they walked with the man along his property, Vinnie was putting together the puzzle pieces in her head and taking in the information.

Sam and Vinnie began making their way back to Joseph's old property, where he said he'd had Constance buried.

"He hesitated to answer that question about having a happy marriage," Vinnie said, "I had a feeling..."

"What do you mean?" Sam asked, glancing at Vinnie.

Vinnie sighed, "I mean... I guarantee he was having an affair and Constance caught wind of it, killed her kids, then killed herself. That'd line up completely if she was a Woman in White."

Sam took a deep breath, "I think you're right..."
