"dawn, can i talk to you?"

sung hanbin suddenly said as dawn was quite scared, he's talked to this man before that one night before the signal song test and was just worried since he was the center and one of the most known trainees in the room right now. they went to the corner of the room wanting to spread away from the others so no one would hear what they had to say.

"being the killing part and leader must be hard, you make it look easy. how do you do it because i have such high expections of everyone so im worried that i wont reach their levels?" hanbin asked as dawn immediately had an answer what we had asked.

"oh, also why did you run off all of a sudden during that one night?" he added on.

"if you want me to tell you the truth, well honestly you shouldn't let people have standards you. only you know yourself the most and i've lived a life trying to fit a standard, but i've realised that people who think of you in a certain way and that if you try to be like that what's the point of living if you're not being yourself?" hanbin listened to every word dawn said as he seemed at ease when he smiled, hanbin immediately hugged him as if all the stress in him was being released.

"and to answer that last question, i was quite scared to wake you up so i left you alone." dawn said as they let go.

"you don't understand how much i needed that, that helped me a lot. thank you." hanbin said as dawn felt happy that he's helped someone, but what he said was true as growing up he was always asked to be something he wasn't. however lately, he feels as if he's able to be himself for once and that helped a lot.

dawn decided to go on a quick walk around to see what everyone else was doing, some were also doing the same as it was a hard time learning something in a quick matter. that's when ollie ran to him, he looked so happy to see him, ollie was apart of the hot sauce team and that's when ollie told him how hard it was.

"ollie! you're gonna do well, aren't you?" ollie was excited about the performance and he was confident that g group was going to win the benefit.

"it was so nice to see you but i need to go now i've been gone for a whole! i'll meet you as soon as i can." dawn hugged ollie tightly and heard back to his practise room.

back to practise, dawn was leading the choreography as he felt confident that he was able to lead now. to his surprise, he was shocked to see that he learnt the choreography quickly and that was next to haru, without him he would be stuck watching the video.

but dawn was still going quite easy which was something that the team noticed, he was scared that he would cause something to happen. back in his old company, they knew so they were less worried about his skills but they still trained him so that he was able to improve.

"dawn? is everything okay?" anthonny asked as he's been looking at dawn sit back for some time and then get back up while going carefully, at this time his whole team has noticed and were all curious on what was going on especially since there were whispers going around.

"group meeting." dawn immediately said as he knew he had to tell them or later on something could happen and he didn't want to affect the team by something he's afraid of.

"around a year ago now i've torn my acl, now i know i should be fully healed but there's always a possibility for that to happen. going 100% isn't something i can physically do but it's something i want for do, it's just that something in my head keeps telling me i can't do it or i'll tear again. the doctors told me that it's easier to tear my acl now since i've already torn it." dawn said avoiding the eyes of his members too afraid to see the reactions but to his surprise they all hugged him.

meanwhile k group were so confused on why they were all hugging each other, that's when they realised that they should focus back to practise as they couldn't fall behind.

"why didn't you say so? we know you're trying your best, and we never want to hurt you so please take as much time as you want so you can be mentally prepared as well." wumiti said with a genuine smile knowing that dawn trusted him a lot.

it was a late night by now around 11pm, dawn was getting tired and he could tell his members were as well. k group were still practising, dawn decided to stop practice and get some sleep as they needed it.

they were doing really well especially since the team had strong vocalists that were able to capture the audience's attention with sweet and angelic vocals. dawn was impressed with the dancers as well, they really were the backbone of the team with how they taught the dance while the rappers were strong and dawn knew they could outrap the rappers from k group.

as dawn was heading out, gyuvin suddenly ran to him and walked out with him. it was silent especially since both of them were tired, but neither felt awkward as if they were friends since childhood.

"how was practise and why was everyone surrounding you?" gyuvin asked breaking the silence as they were almost at their dorms, dawn didn't know whether to tell him or not but at the same time he already knew about his situation with his parents so it didn't matter right?

"well, in the past i've torn my acl and it's still quite affecting me. im scared that any second it could tear so during practise, i was afraid that when i told them they would be mad." gyuvin suddenly stopped as he looked at dawn with sorry eyes, gyuvin was wondering why an angel like him was going through so much like how his family aren't the most financially stable and now his acl.

"why would anyone get mad at you? you're an angel, don't forget that." dawn was honestly feeling quite shocked when gyuvin said that. although gyuvin was the type to annoy you every second, he was still caring and loving maybe that's why yuehua still loves him.

"fuck." dawn suddenly said out loud as he realised the door to his dorm was locked and there was a sign written by one of the staff. dawn hadn't even realised gyuvin followed him all the way to his dorm, he was too tired at this moment so it was hard to focus.

"i need to sleep in someone else's dorm, can i sleep in yours on the floor?" dawn asked gyuvin as he didn't like the fact that dawn had to sleep on the floor as that didn't seem right. but gyuvin had an idea so they both walked to his dorm where his members were also already sleeping.

gyuvin was making his bed until he pushed dawn into his bed and forced him to stay there. that's when he grabbed the remaining blankets and pillows and laid on the floor, dawn was shocked to see that gyuvin had done this just for him. he didn't feel comfortable sleeping in someone else's bed knowing that they had to sleep on the floor.

"gyuvin, sleep on your bed. i'm okay!" gyuvin blocked his ears pretending not to hear him, dawn was so annoyed right now as it didn't feel right to him. that's when he saw a head pop over, dawn was panicking until he realised it was yujin who was laughing so hard.

"sorry hyung, i thought you were gyuvin. i was awake the whole time, so i heard you guys." dawn forgave him immediately especially since he was so cute, but dawn was still trying to get gyuvin to go on the bed as he didn't like it.

that was when dawn decided to go on the floor and stay on the ground with him until he moved. but he never did, gyuvin was such a hard person to convince especially in situations like this since he was a person full of heart. yujin who was still awake was honestly going crazy seeing that gyuvin and dawn were so close to each other right now that it looked like they were making out.

waiting for gyuvin to head back to his bed was a long game, slowly his eyes starting getting heavier and that's when he realised gyuvin was asleep but gyuvin still dragged dawn closer to him. that's when dawn fell asleep in his arms.
