FIGHTING!

"it's break time, do you wanna come?"

dawn didn't know what to do but considering the fact that they even offered and he had no one else, he decided to go with the four of them. the five of them waited as everyone rushed out of there to either fix their hair and makeup or to rehearse so they could get a higher mark.

he didn't have to do any of that as he was confident in himself, as he followed the four boys they suddenly stopped as they greeted another four boys and dawn realised they were from the same company.

all of a sudden, dawn was introduced to the other four boys and dawn suddenly made eye contact with one of them, damn he was good looking. dawn smiled at the four of them and introduced himself but he couldn't stop looking at him, something about him was so mesmerising and that was when he caught his name, kim gyuvin.

han yujin, lim junseo, yoo seungeon alongside kim gyuvin were also quite nervous to be there but since dawn didn't want to make it awkward he decided to try talk to them about stuff such as what they were going to perform but suddenly someone bumped into him causing him to trip and fall.

he was expecting to hit the ground or something by now but as he opened his eyes, he saw two eyes staring back at him. at this point, he was blushing heavily and he knew that for sure however gyuvin was too blind to see this. dawn was dying inside, why was this man so fine?

yujin on the side was seen teasing gyuvin, something was going on as if they planned this as the person who bumped into dawn didn't even apologise unless he was in on it. maybe dawn was delusional for that but that didn't stop the fact he helped him up.

"hyung, what company do you come from?" yujin suddenly asked as dawn couldn't bare his cuteness as he spoke, dawn tried saying the company name but yujin just didn't seem to get it so he decided to spell it out. however yujin was shocked, according to them that was the most prestigious and hardest company to get into.

all this time training there, he now understood why they forced him to work so hard and delayed his debut all the time. it was due to the pressure of being known as a prestigious company to get into, but the look on hao was something he hadn't seen. it was as if hao wanted to say something but he couldn't due to all the people in the room with them.

"that means you must be good!" ricky asked as dawn nodded his head in confidence, the eight boys he were with were really nice suprisingly. but he didn't want to be a burden and just randomly join them as he's only met them now so it would be weird to just be with them.

"weird question but i really do like you guys and you seem nice. am i annoying you guys, i've only met you guys and yet i don't want to ruin your amazing friend group?" as dawn asked this question, the eight of them looked at each other and laughed. dawn was confused at this sight but all of a sudden they told him it was okay.

"are you okay? there's a reason why hao brought you, we don't randomly bring people in plus you're nice and you're good looking too." seungeon said as he side eyed gyuvin while doing so.

"break is over soon, and we're all going next too so let's start heading now." hao said as he took the leader role, dawn was suddenly dragged by ollie and yujin by his hands as they seemed to approve him. ollie finally looked like he was less nervous around him, they asked him all sorts of questions and they were cuter than they looked.

arriving backstage was scary especially since the staff were rushing them and telling them to quickly get ready. since dawn was going up first, he was getting pushed around but he wasn't too scared as he was used to this pace. the camera was rolling and the yuehua boys wished him good luck while watching him through the monitors.

"he's so cute! i hope he does well." hao said as he noticed the nervousness through his walk, the yuehua boys pretty much adopted him into their family. despite not knowing him well, they could tell that he was an innocent and genuine soul who wanted love.

dawn made it to the stage where he was greeted by the masters, they seemed to adore his smile and compliment his smile for how cute it was. the masters also read his resume and was shocked at finding how his six years training experience, the other trainees in the room didn't have to train for that long. they went further down and noticed that company he was at, they were now expecting alot for him.

"why did you even stay there for six years even though they kept delaying your debut?" master solji asked.

"well, this has always been a dream of mine. and knowing that my debut was close always motivated me to work harder. despite all the delays, my parents always told me that god always had a plan for me and right now it wasn't the time. so maybe boys planet is the right moment for me to debut?" the masters fell in love with his intelligence and positive attitude even though his debut was always delayed.

as he got into his starting position, the music started playing. the room recognised the song as save me by bts, the song was darker from his personality but this was the true him. he's really connected to the music as he's recently came out of a dark place and wanted to get rid of the fact that he was gay but he's come to peace with it and accepted himself for who he was. so save me talks about how he wants to be saved but at the end he realises that being him was the best.

the way he sang was so peaceful and the movements he presented came out softly just like how he imagined. the masters could tell something was bothering him and that it motivated him to do even better, although his image was nothing like this dance, it made him a stronger competitor.

"yah- he's really good.." ricky said as he was caught mesmerised by dawn's dance, on the other hand yujin was also smiling at the fact that his hyungs were basically falling in love with someone on the screen.

as the performance was completed, dawn came back to his original image with a smile.

"how can you come back smiling after such a beautiful and emotional performance. you know that almost made me tear up, the way you sang could make a whole crowd cry and your dancing told a story. this was perfection!" the master of dance said as the others agreed.

"this is an easy decision, dawn wang. you have received all stars, congratulations!" hearing the words that this was perfect and all stars made dawn realise that maybe he was useful after all and that practise made perfection.

as he ran backstage, he ran into hao's arms and started tearing up. hao heard about how his debut was always debuted and how he started losing hope so seeing him finally doing well inform of the audience must have been emotional for him.

the others all congratulated him and seeing him cry made them also want to cry but they had to hold it in since they were performing next.

"FIGHTING!"
