28th place

dawn watched as there were only 25 trainees remaining hoping that one of them would be the lucky one to be revealed as the 28th place. the one person left would be able to perform at the next round which all of them wanted as it was gonna be their own original song.

"i'm scared.." dawn talked to himself as he was going insane from how scared and anxious he was, the trainees who were around him noticed him talking to himself but didn't say anything as they didn't want to hurt his feelings.

earlier, the interlim candidates for the position of 28th place were cha woongki, mun junhyeon, ma jingxiang and dawn. maybe dawn still had chance but since woongki was gone, there was a higher chance for dawn to even make it, he was praying more than ever.

now the three new candidates were now going to be revealed, dawn was praying he was still going to be apart of the three. dawn was honestly shaking but as he looked up at the seats, he could see gyuvin already looking back at him, he held his hands up signalling that he's with him.

his thighs were shaking so much that it felt like he was going to pass out, but luckily he controlled his breathing to calm himself down. many were hoping for dawn to make it since they knew how unfair it would be for him to not make it especially since he was hated for something he should have never be hated for.

the screen immediately changed into three faces, dawn was going insane again as he saw his own face along with ma jingxiang and mun junhyeon. tears slowly fell down as he controlled his emotions making sure he wasn't crying too much on the camera.

dawn stood up as he nervously waited for what was next, he looked around the room to see all eyes staring at him. arms and legs shaking, he stood still not moving at all besides the fact that his whole body was shaking.

firstly, the star master was going to announce who placed 30th. dawn honestly wished they didn't do this as it would hurt them so much knowing that they missed out just by a few two ranks, this was unfair and so traumatic for those who had to experience this.

"ma jing xiang" dawn turned to his right and immediately felt so bad, he saw the disappointment on his face as he knew his time was now finished on boys planet. as he made his speech, dawn felt so teary knowing that he may or may not make it to the next round but what made it worse was that the reality hit him. more than half of them were leaving, he didn't know it would hurt this much.

it was now either dawn or mun junhyeon, dawn hated this. everyone wanted both of them to survive but that was impossible, with teary eyes he looked at the star master waiting for the few words that will determine their future here. the score gap was 60,510 so it wasn't that much which was a shocker.

will junhyeon the rapper with the babyface who performed gang or dawn the cutest sexy main vocalist who performed love killa make it to the next round? dawn closed his eyes as the announcement was now about to revealed.

"dawn wang!" dawn fell to the ground as tears were released, he couldn't believe his ears as the surrounding trainees walked over to comfort him. dawn couldn't stop but apologise to junhyeon as he felt so guilty for taking his place, dawn looked up to see gyuvin also tearing up.

dawn walked to the stage while crying, his eyes were turning red from how stressed and how much he cried. the star master went on to explain that over the last few weeks, dawn had gained the most amount of votes ever. then he proceeded to ask dawn how he felt.

"i'm sorry for crying a lot, thats the first thing i have to say." dawn said as this got the whole room laughing even the staffs who were behind the cameras.

"he's so cute.."

"he deserves it."

those were the comments that were spread around as everyone adored dawn for how cute and honest he was.

"umm, i really don't know what to say. i had lost so much hope during these last few weeks and seeing my rank drop so much made me lose motivation but the fact that everyone here supported me during that time really gave me strength." dawn said while tearing up.

"and to those who didn't make it, im so sorry. i really want you to know that you will make it, and that you will succeed in a different way, thank you!" dawn said with a smile at the end.

junhyeon also made his speech as everyone cheered for the both of them, one made it while one had to remain back empty handed. dawn walked to the remaining last seat as he bowed and took a seat.

finally, the stress was over for now.
