second eliminations

"dawn, wake up!" dawn heard a whisper as he slightly opened up to see gyuvin trying to wake him up, dawn was devastated at this may be the last time he even sees gyuvin. as soon as he was okay to get up, he immediately began hugging gyuvin and telling him how much he loves him.

last night was chaotic, gyuvin had finally confessed to dawn and now they're finally dating. everyone pretty much knew about their relationship even if they wanted it to be a secret but i guess it was quite obvious, they were always together and holding hands so it was no secret!

"no matter what happens during this ceremony, promise me that you'll debut. my chances are getting low while yours are high." dawn looks up at gyuvin with sadness, he wants to make it through but the reality is that dawn had a really low chance of even passing this eliminations.

"dawn, you're gonna make it." gyuvin said trying to give dawn some hope which is what dawn would have but this time he knew hope wasn't going to save his ass. all dawn could do was just smile when all of a sudden a staff member knocked on the door signalling that it was time to get up and get prepared for the ceremony.

"let's go." dawn noticed that gyuvin had his hand out, dawn smiled and held onto his huge hand and walked with him. the tiny and huge hand combination was really funny as dawn's hands looked like a child's hands compared to gyuvin's.

they made their way to the dressing room where they noticed matthew and seowon having a conversation about which ranks they think they would be, but what shocked dawn was that the two of them believed he would be 28th. dawn didn't want too much hope so he immediately told them that he would never.

that's when jiwoong finally made it to the dressing room, he looked really tired. dawn talked to seowon and jiwoong, in the corner they could hear matthew teaching gyuvin english. this was really cute especially with gyuvin trying his best to memorise his speech.

"dawn, do you think you're gonna make it?" jiwoong asked, seowon was confident that dawn would make it but dawn eventually told the two of them that he was sure he was not going to make it to the next round while the others in the room were.

"it's time! make your way." one of the staff said as gyuvin immediately sprinted towards dawn as they walked together to the back where they waited for everyone to make their entrance. suddenly there was a cameramen heading towards dawn and dawn was prepared to answer the question.

"what will you do if you don't make it?"

"i'll hide into gyuvin's luggage and eat all of his snacks." the cameramen laughed quite hard but luckily he was able to capture it, first the teams from the vocal & rap section made their entrances and introduced themselves. dawn found it so funny how moments before anxiety, there was enjoyment and hope.

both gyuvin and dawn side eyed each other when hao and hanbin made their special moment, it was definitely a gay couple moment but it was cute. next up was the vocal & dance sections, dawn loved the feel special introduction as they were mocking the fans who said that this was just a "co-worker" friendship.

it was finally love killas turn, since dawn was the shortest out of his group and the youngest. they all carried him to the introduction where they introduced him as the king, everyone was laughing when dawn almost got dropped luckily gyuvin was there to catch him.

awkwardly, dawn got off as they headed to their seats. dawn was doing his best not to laugh as the cameraman would definitely do dawn dirty by revealing that scene to the fans. finally everyone had made it as gyuvin held onto dawn's hands even tighter.

dawn looked to his left to see ollie giving him a thumbs up sign while dawn smiled at him, he was definitely scared but made sure to look strong. that's when a silence hit the room as everyone had the same thoughts, only 28 out of the 52 in the room would survive. all that could be heard were the whispers of those who had the need to say something to those around them.

that's when the door opened and everyone started talking again as the star master, lee minhyuk made his way to the microphone. dawn knew the ceremony was about to start as his mouth now opened, dawn was shocked again to hear that star creators from 178 countries have placed in around 47.6 million votes.

right now every trainee has been preparing for the third mission, but only those who survive will get to perform on the stage. this was sad as dawn loved the song he had to perform to, he honestly wanted to perform it infront of everyone! but of course, talking about the third mission, the viewers needed to understand what it was so a clip was shown.

after the second mission results, a known idol key had made his way to the stage which shocked everyone. the trainees were so excited to see him as he was an icon, dawn knew that the third mission was going to be great. the announcement of the third mission was revealed which was quite cruel since they've just finished the second mission after a long time.

"artist battle." dawn was confused but then his prior knowledge of survival shows came into play as he realised that this meant that they were going to perform and have their own song, he was so excited and when he told gyuvin, gyuvin hugged him so tightly.

this mission was to show off your skills in producing, choreography and rap making, dawn knew that he was definitely going to do well as that was his specialty! that's when the songs were about to be announced, dawn was going insane!

the first song was 'oriental pop' dawn had no idea what the first word meant but he was excited! it was definitely energetic and something you could vibe to, but dawn he wanted another approach so he knew that this song wasn't the best for him. some of the trainees were already dancing to this song, i mean it was a good one but not for dawn. the second song was 'sentimental hip hop' now currently dawn wanted to show off his rapping skills as recently his predebut rap videos were now surfacing and fans wanted to see more, as soon as dawn heard the chorus he knew that this was for him. the dance looked quite extremely hard but he knew he had to prove his talents.

"gyuvin! i want this one!" dawn cutely said without even realising as gyuvin was really shocked but he's also seen dawn's predebut rapping and he knew he would be able to pull it off!

the third song was 'r&b pop' now this was questions dawn's choice right now, he would love to do a r&b song so when he heard the song he immediately fell in love but the issue with this was that many of the trainees would fight for this song as well. he could hear the reaction of the others and they also loved it so maybe it was best to step back from this.

the fourth song was 'new-tro synth pop' this confused dawn and immediately forgot about the word. the song was so cute, this was definitely something dawn would do but right now his attention was for something else. the lyrics were also really cute, it was about a love story. there was one person who would fit the song, matthew, so dawn immediately told him that he would do well with it.

finally the last song was "funk pop" dawn had no idea what funk was but when he heard it, the song was definitely interesting. dawn immediately turned to his right and told gyuvin that this song was for him, it was perfect for him. gyuvin was hiding his blush as he couldn't stop thinking about how dawn knew him so well.

that was when the important announcement was made, those who made it to the next round would be able to perform the song while the others only got to practise it before they went home. the positives were the benefits, the whole team that gets the highest score will earn 200k points, dawn knew that the winning team was definitely going to make it to the finale.

the shocking part was that the member who scored the highest in the highest scoring team would earn an extra 200k, this was insane! that's when a whole new twist was revealed, dawn did not believe his ears when the star master went on to say that the trainees didn't get to choose the teams but the star masters did.

dawn was just praying that the star masters knew his genre and that they voted for the best song for him or else he'd be doomed.
