peaceful day

dawn didn't even realise that as soon as he laid down on his bed that he would fall asleep, he was actually planning to talk to gyuvin about what seungeon said to him during the performances. here's what happened last night:

- gyuvin's pov -

dawn told me to head to the bedroom after the whole results, as soon as it finished i had a chat with yujin who was so excited about heading to m countdown. it was nice to hear that someone who i became close with and pretty much treat like my own child is going to be performing at huge places such as m countdown.

but what i'm confused is why dawn needs to talk to me, is it important? the thing is why am i so nervous about it, i've talked to dawn multiples times now and i should be okay but why am i like this when it comes to him?

i walk alongside yujin who's silent for most of it, it could be due to him being tired after a long day of watching performances and sitting all day long. i try to cheer him up by playing with his cheeks and giving him motivating quotes, he's such an adorable kid and i plan to make sure he stays healthy and safe.

i take yujin to his room where he immediately flops onto his bed, he suddenly asks where im going and i tell him im going to my bedroom where dawn. yujin loves dawn, dawn is practically yujin's favourite older brother due to his kindness and understanding skills.

"please take me with you, we could do a sleepover in your room and jiwoong hyung is also there so he'd be okay with it?" i couldn't resist the cuteness of yujin and agreed to it, i helped him bring his essentials. as we walked over, he suddenly hit me with a sudden question.

"i've noticed this ever since you met dawn but you treat him so different, you're so much kinder and quieter when you're around him. do you like dawn hyung?" that got me by surprise, im straight but yes i like him. what am i feeling? this isn't what a real man should do, i should like women only and focus on getting married since korea doesn't accept gay marriage!

"no! of course i don't like him, he's just special." i said to yujin with a reassuring smile as we open the door to see dawn flat on his bed, i noticed that he didn't look too comfortable on his bed and immediately readjusted his posture by carrying him carefully. to my surprise, i learnt that he's a heavy sleeper so this was helpful.

yujin helped me by putting the blanket over him while jiwoong came over and noticed this, for a few minutes all three of them were now staring at dawn and thinking to themselves why someone like him could be so cute.

"am i the only one thinking how cute dawn really is, any girl would like him." jiwoong said out loud as both i and yujin gave each other a stare knowing that dawn is gay, then jiwoong finally understood this look and asked if dawn was gay immediately.

"it's okay, i acted in a BL..." jiwoong suddenly said as they all laughed and continued to talk about dawn's cuteness. meanwhile i couldn't stop thinking about dawn, why was he the only man to make me feel this way?

- back to dawn -

dawn woke up to see yujin in their room sleeping on the floor with jiwoong, that's when dawn realised that he had forgotten to talk to gyuvin last night but maybe it was for the best. dawn quietly tried getting up when he suddenly felt someone drag him onto their bed, he was about to panic when he realised it was just gyuvin.

"you're really loud, just stay here. it's our free day, we don't have anything to worry about." dawn was laying on top of gyuvin which was quite an uncomfortable position for dawn and asked if he could also snuggle in the blanket. that's when gyuvin confessed he was currently shirtless and was worried that maybe he would make dawn feel uncomfortable.

"it's okay, i've shared a bed with shirtless men before." dawn jokingly said as that was false, dawns never been in a relationship or slept with anyone (ifykyk) gyuvin felt quite jealous but when dawn told him he was just joking, he eased up and wondered why he was so jealous.

that's when the two of them starting facing towards each other and just admired each other, gyuvin was smiling quite widely. if anyone walked in, this would be so over for them.

"dawn, what was it that you needed to talk about?" gyuvin asked in a deep voice as he seemed quite tired.

"right now isn't the best time, maybe in a bit when we're both more fresh. also, what happened last night?" gyuvin dragged dawn closer to him as he placed his legs on dawn and was basically in the spoon position with him.

"oh, yujin wanted to stay here for tonight. when we came back, we saw you looking dead so i carried you to a better position while yujin tucked you in. jiwoong didn't like yujin being alone on the floor, so he slept with him." dawn smiled at the fact that gyuvin carried him to a better position, this made dawn start thinking about what seungeon said, maybe gyuvin did like dawn after all?

dawn decided to head out but it took some time since gyuvin was basically begging him to stay. dawn didn't want to stay as it was 11am and pretty much everyone was awake, gyuvin decided to let him go.

dawn immediately headed to the cafeteria to eat where the yuehua were there, he smiled while the others wondered where yujin and gyuvin where but right before dawn could answer the two were finally here just in time. seungeon gave dawn a look which gyuvin noticed and made him wonder what that was but didn't question it.

"it's nice to see that we're all here but in a few days, this could all be different. some of us are gonna be eliminated, i think we should hang out once again after m count down recording?" seungeon suddenly said as the others agreed, dawn looked over at gyuvin who looked excited.

"hey gyuvin, let's go talk." dawn said as seungeon had such a wide smile on his face while everyone was questioning what this was about even though they knew deep down that something romantic was definitely going to happen.

they headed to a more private location where there were less trainees around, gyuvin was quite worried on what this was about since he was afraid of what dawn had to say.

"i need to complete truth right now..." dawn said immediately as gyuvin was wondering what he meant by this.

"the reality is that im going to be eliminated whether i like it or not, my rank has dropped so much and it would take a miracle for me to even survive. so i want you to tell me, do you like me?" gyuvin turned red and immediately reassured dawn that he will make it.

"i'll be honest with you since you asked me too, the day i met you everything felt different in a good way. i've never met anyone like you, you're so kind, gentle and sweet to anyone you meet. you're always putting yourself first, and i know that i hurt you before and i plan to never do it again." dawn felt so many emotions coming.

"im straight..." dawn's heart dropped hearing this because he started to catch feelings for gyuvin for some time now.

"but meeting you, i think you turned me gay." all of a sudden gyuvin carried dawn.

"yes i like you, im crazy for you, i love you. you make me go insane." dawn smiled all of a sudden and hugged him, then gyuvin was about to lean in for a kiss when they heard the door knock and the voices of trainees were heard as they asked if the room was available.

immediately dawn felt embarrassed and told them that it was and they were about to leave. this was the signal that dawn and gyuvin should head back to the cafeteria.

"hey, i know that you like keeping stuff on the downlow but is it okay if only our close friends know.." dawn agreed as he didn't mind if the yuehuas knew about this, they weren't dating yet so he didn't have anything to worry about..

"you two look way too happy.." hao pointed out as the others on the table noticed this as they immediately realised what happened, seungeon had such a proud face on as they all congratulated them.

"wait, we're not dating." gyuvin had a disappointed face on but he knew how slow dawn wanted to take it so he respected that.

"whatever, you're dating.." ricky said softly as he laughed at the fact that gyuvin was able to get someone to like him..

dawn rolled his eyes ...
