It's a new year with new beginnings. It's also been 7 months since I've seen or heard from Ryan, I mean I see her on social media and it looks like her and Keith are in a good place. Seated in my dressing room, nerves consumed me to the point of making myself sick.
"Baby, you look nervous. Relax," Keith said, kissing my cheek and giving my shoulders a soothing massage.
"I'm trying, but I can't believe they chose ME to perform for Mariah Carey," I said, glancing at the Valentine's Day flowers from my team.
"Why not? Your voice is ridiculously incredible."
