It's been a week since I got out of the hospital, and Keith got arrested. The doctors thought I couldn't make my own decisions, so my parents took charge and pressed charges against him, causing chaos in both our families.
Despite everything, I still cared for Keith. Even after he hurt me, I found myself worrying about his well-being behind bars. My parents got a court protective order against him, preventing any contact between us.
Jude told Amiyah and Brittany about everything that happened and they were concerned for me, so they've been staying with me every night. Of course Jude can't stay all the time because she has a husband and two kids, but I'm grateful nonetheless.
(Knock knock) I stayed silent and my bedroom door opened. "Ryan, Amiyah cooked breakfast, you gonna come down and eat?" Britt asked getting into my bed with me.
"I'm not really hungry, I miss him." I said wiping my tear.
"Ry, you know I don't judge, but this man almost killed you and your baby."
"Not him, Quincy. I haven't talked to him since I told everyone the baby is his. It's like our love died in that hospital room. He left and didn't even say anything to me."
I finally got out of my bed to shower and brush my teeth.
"Girl, stop, Quincy is in love with you. He just needs time I guess."
"How much time does he need? He should've talked to me that day, instead he chickened out and left me all alone." I asked while brushing my teeth.
"You know Quincy ain't a punk, I think he's just shocked, he'll come around. He loves you more than anything, I use to see it on set, but never mentioned it because you and Keith were so happy."
"Yeah, well, I'm gonna hop in the shower and I'll be down."
20min later...
"Mmm! Smells good! Me and the baby are hungry. Hey Jude, when you get here?" I asked hugging her.
"About 10 minutes ago. Your face is healing up good, at least ya eye went down."
"Yeah, I still hate looking in the mirror without makeup."
"I could've killed his ass, see that was God letting Jude find you because I would've sliced and diced his light skin ass." Amiyah said cleaning the kitchen.
I laughed because she would've really done it. "Well, I'm glad you didn't because I wouldn't want you locked up for murder, I need you around for my baby boy."
"Awwww you're having a son?" Jude asked super excited.
"I am! And I'm so excited."
"He's gonna be the perfect mix of you and Quincy."
"I still can't believe he's the father." I said sipping my orange juice.
"Bitch how did that happen?" Amiyah asked loading the dishwasher.
"Sex?" I said sarcastically.
"We know they, but yall ain't use a condom?" She asked giggling.
"We did, but then we ran out. The sex was so good, I let him hit it raw and then I asked...him NotToPullOut." I replied fast hoping they didn't catch it.
"BITCH WHAT?!" Jude shouted spitting out her water.
"Dammit Jude." Britt said wiping the water that hit her arm.
"Look , I ain't mad at you." Amiyah said jokingly.
"This is the reason why Keith lost it on me. I need to talk to him, but most importantly, Quincy. I promise Keith will never ever hit me again."
"Yeah Ry, everything happens for a reason and as always, we gotchu." Britt assured me.
"I love yall! Group hug!" I said hugging them.
