Oh my gosh, last night was absolutely insane! I still can't believe that Quincy and I ended up sleeping together. It's been like forever, three whole years since we last laid eyes on each other, but we managed to stay connected through social media. And you know what?

Despite any expectations of regret, I surprisingly don't feel that way at all. Actually, I can't stop thinking about him, and I'm already counting down the seconds until our next encounter.

Just as I was lost in my daydreams, a text from Jude popped up. I debated whether or not to spill the tea about what went down with Quincy, but ultimately, I decided to keep it hush-hush. It's not that I don't trust Jude—she's like my soul sister, the one I share all my secrets with—but for some reason, I felt this urge to keep this between Quincy and me, at least for now. I just wasn't ready to hear anyone else's perspective on it. Deep down, I know I shouldn't be yearning for another rendezvous, but, oh my goodness, the desire is overwhelming!

It was a bit chilly outside, and I just wasn't in the mood to get all dolled up. So I decided to slip into some ripped light jeans, a cute hooded sweatshirt, and added a touch of glamour with my oversized shades. And of course, I couldn't forget my black and brown LV sneakers to complete the look.

Jude was patiently waiting for me, and the sweet hostess guided us to our seats. Our waiter approached our table and introduced himself.

"Hi ladies, my name is Quincy and I'll be your waiter today. He handed us the menus with a charming smile. "Can I start you off with some drinks or appetizers?"

"Wait, your name is Quincy?" I asked, trying not to let on what immediately came to mind.

"Yes, my momma's favorite movie is love & basketball, so she named me after Quincy McCall." he explained with a hint of bashfulness.

"Oh, I see," I responded, concealing my amusement behind a demure facade.

He seemed nervous, but he was a cute guy, but the only Quincy I wanted was the one that was between my legs last night and this morning.

"I'll leave you ladies to it and I'll be back in a few moments to take your orders." He hurriedly walked away.

Jude glanced at me with a puzzled expression, her curiosity piqued.

"What was that about?" she asked, her voice tinged with intrigue.

I tried to maintain my cool, not wanting to reveal my inner nervousness.

"W-what was what about?" I responded, attempting to downplay the situation.

Jude leaned back in her chair, crossing her arms, a sly grin playing on her lips.

"Hold up, hold up. Did something go down between you and Quincy last night after y'all left the club?" she asked, her eyes shining with that knowing look.

I felt her intense curiosity staring me down, but I couldn't spill the tea just yet. Nah, it wasn't the right time for that. So, I decided to play it cool, giving her a playful smile.

"Girl, no." I replied, trying to brush off her suspicions.

Jude arched an eyebrow, that mischievous glimmer still present.

"Mmm-hmm, interesting" she teased, refusing to let me off the hook.

I let out a soft laugh, shrugging off her comment. "He walked my drunk ass to my door and left." I answered, holding back the juicy details.

Moments later...

Quincy, our waiter, came over with our food, placing the plates on the table. With a friendly smile, he said, "Here's your sweet & sour chicken, along with your water and lemon."

"Mmm, thank you!" I exclaimed eagerly, already diving into my plate with delight.

Quincy turned to Jude, his voice filled with warmth, and presented her with her chicken stir fry. "And for you, here's your chicken stir fry, also with water and lemon."

Jude grinned and replied, "Thanks, Quincy." We both said it in sync, expressing our appreciation for his service.

Quincy's smile grew wider as he responded, "It's my pleasure, y'all. Enjoy your meal." His genuine words made us feel even more excited about the mouthwatering feast before us.

"So, have you talked to hubby?" Jude asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Mm-mm," I replied, my mouth full of food. I quickly swallowed and continued, "I forgot to text him back. Can you believe this man had the nerve to send my mom to my house to check on me?"

Jude looked at me with a mix of amusement and disbelief. "Ryan, the man is just concerned about you. I mean, you are his wife."

"I know, I appreciate the concern," I replied, exasperated. "But don't send my mother over. My damn phone was dead. I'll call him when I get home."

"Good," Jude said, taking the last bite of her food. "Whew! I am stuffed. I'ma take this to go. The kids are driving hubby crazy."

"Yeah, let's go before my husband calls the damn SWAT team next," I said, annoyance evident in my tone.

Quincy came over, bringing us our takeout boxes and our checks. We got up and left the restaurant and headed to our separate destinations.
