We've set up a good spot in the grass to watch the Christmas fireworks as we snuggle up beside each other with blankets
I have on a green beanie with bunny ears on the top of it and a coat, and she just has a hoodie, saying how "it's much colder when it's winter in Australia"
"Yeah but Australia isn't real so their winter can't be colder"
"Ahhh right sorry baby I forgot Australia is not real"
We both giggle as the loud voice comes over the speaker, indicating the show is about to start
We snuggle together and see how they put cool images on the front of the tower, like tinker bell and ornaments and Santa Clause and snow!!
All the while, fireworks are bursting in the air, and me and mommy are just "ooo'ing" and "awww'ing" at the beautiful sight, snuggled up against each other
They start the countdown until Christmas and we count along with it

I turn to her "Merry Christmas mommy!!!"
She turns to me, leans forward and takes my chin, and gives me a long and sensual kiss, one that I melt in, until she finally lets go and hugs me "merry Christmas my baby! I love you so so much, this year has been the best year of my life! I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you~"
I start tearing up, hugging her back and choking out
"I-I love you too mommy!! This has been the bestest year and trip I've ever had, I can't wait for every year to top the one before it, because when I'm with you, nothing can ever go wrong!!"
We watch the fireworks in silence, comforted by each other's presence, and I'm just left to think
To think about how much I love her
To think about how much I wanna be with her
To think about how glad I am she's found my secret
To think about how I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with her
I love you mommy. I know I can't be with you right now, but I hope this makes you feel even just a little bit better
