Along the way, I excitedly observe my son's excitement that he is going to play in the snow. It doesn't take long for us to arrive at the park. Leo really loves it when it's snowing.

Valentina looks cheerful next to me, and I'm glad to see her like this. It's moments like this that make me more and more sure that letting her into my life, again, is really the right thing to do. Even though our story has been lost inside me, somewhere, I feel something deep in my being, which calls and begs for it, like a supernatural force, which, even though it tries to push me away, pulls me close again. There's no escaping it, but I'm not even running anymore, am I?

- "Park the car, Mom. I want to play."

Impossible not to smile at his extremely excited request. Leo is jumping over the back seat, looking anxiously out the window. I look at Valentina and see her smiling too, as she stares at him in the mirror. It makes me rejoice even more. Finally, we have found a parking spot and free my little son.

- "Don't run away, okay? Wait for us."

Leo nods his head to Valentina's warning, and waits impatiently for his mother to get out of the car and open the trunk to get her things. As I step outside, my body shudders slightly from the icy breeze that lashes against me.

- "Shall we make angels in the snow, Mommy?"

- "Whatever you want, my love." I mess his hair and then hold him from his shoulders, keeping him close to me while we wait from Valentina, who doesn't take long to emerge with a briefcase.

- "We can go, children."

- "I'm the one who should say that," I counter her tease, and Valentina lets out a giggle. We walk to the park, and soon you can notice several families with their children. The view is really beautiful. I hope Valentina takes pictures of me in this landscape, I'll keep them forever.

- "Nayara is coming, I'll take some pictures of her. Can we do something about it?"

- "A snowball fights?"

- "Please, Moms!"

Valentina and I stared at each other. A smug- smile rises on her face and I arch an eyebrow at her.

- "I'll do it."

- "Me too. I hope you are ready to be hit," I tease, making her laugh and nod her head. Our son is between the two of us, looking at us, not quite understanding but too excited to care.

- "That's what we will see."

- "That's the real propaganda family of the lesbian community," a third, familiar voice makes Valentina and me look in that direction. My jaw almost drops as I have my eyes on that woman. I always thought she was very beautiful when we were younger, but she managed to reach an even higher level. Her confident way as she walks and her short, curly hair make her look like a phenomenal woman, without enough words to describe it.

- "We're the perfect poster family even for the straight community," Valentina replies to the joke before hugging her. "Where's Keith?"

- "He went to park the car. Luiza, finally seeing you again."

- "How beautiful you look."

Nayara laughs at my speech, and Valentina follows her. I shake my head and hug her, inhaling the delicious smell of her perfume.

- "It's good to see you again, too," I declare.

- "You look beautiful too. What a body!" My cheeks turn red, I smile awkwardly and look away.

- "What about you, little one? Tap her." She greets him, and the two of them do a high five.

- "Three beautiful women gathered. The world doesn't have the support for so much beauty." A man emerges with a child in his arms. He has beautiful smile, and the little one on his lap looks like a faithful copy of Nayara. I recognize that it is her husband, as Valentina had shown me some pictures. Very good taste they both have.
