Valentina and I are sitting on the chair outside, watching the sun slowly set. With few clouds in the sky, mild weather and perfect company, the view couldn't be better appreciated. I snuggle into her arms, sighing with happiness as I feel a kiss on the top of my head. She caresses my arms, and in silence we continue to enjoy each other's presence.

When I was younger, I couldn't understand why people like to be silent in each other's presence, but now I understand. It's a great feeling to know that you don't have to do anything or make things up, let alone exchange kisses all the time. I like being like that with her. Valentina awakens a lot of good in me, more and more. I realized that it is inevitable to fall in love with this woman. Trying to run away from her is like swimming against the current: I can walk away, but I'm pulled back.

- "I miss being like this with you." I turn a little in her arms to look at her face, from the bottom up. All of her features are beautiful, from her plump mouth to her large eyelashes. I'm amazed at how she manages to get more beautiful with every passing day.

- "Do you miss it?"

- "Yes, a lot. When we were younger, we could come here often, it was much easier as our only responsibility was to the college. After we became adults, things changed. We went through phases where we saw each other only at bedtime and barely kissed.

- "I never imagined what my adult life would be like, I had no idea that I would get married, that I would have children, or what path I would choose as career. It's strange to know that nothing I thought came true."

- "You wanted to spend few years travelling through the world."

I end up laughing at her phrase, because she knows me so well that it scares me. I was going to comment on myself, because I remember that it really was what I wanted to do as soon as possible.

- "It's funny how you know everything about me."

- It's been thirteen years of living together, my love," Valentina says matter-of-factly, but suddenly I feel her body stiffen on my back. I don't understand when I look at her. "I am sorry."

- "Why was that?"

- "I called you my love and I don't want to rush things. I'm feeling like the teenager I was when we first started dating each other."

I hold her chin and smile, before raising to seal our lips. She gasps, pulling me against her.

- "I understand that it's very natural for you to treat me like this. As you said, it's been thirteen years together. For me that's fine."

- "Seriously?"

- "Of course! I like it when you call me 'love'", and it makes my stomach bubble with nervousness.

The smile she gives me is immense. I know she quite liked what I said, because then she kisses me with a huge desire. Unlike the kiss we exchange earlier, this one is loaded with passion, and I would even say lust, because the way Valentina sucks my lips and presses me against her body is setting me on fire. When I think about stopping her the kiss ends, and she gives me another tender on the forehead.

I don't know what to do, totally lost, staring at her mouth, which is reddened, swollen, extremely flashy and attractive. This woman is hell on earth. There is no better definition.

- "Let's go in, it's getting cold."

I nod my head and, without any control over my body, I just follow her inwards. Valentina walks over to a small fire place and lights it up. I sit on the bed, but when I look straight ahead, I see wall with the photos and I stand up again, so I can see them.
