After Stein said his words, Frieren was shocked and told him.
Frieren: He has a withering effect!? I thought it was just a myth!
Stein: It is real, Frieren. Luckily, the withering effect is temporary for Brennen and not long-lasting.
Frieren: Will he be fine, Stein?
Stein: Yes, he will, but he will have cracked skin after the spell is gone.
Frieren was relieved by Stein's words that her brother would be fine. Frieren comforts her sick brother, for he would not feel the agonizing pain that the Wither gave him. Meanwhile, Eren, who's controlling the cart, heard the words that Brennen would be fine. The king watched his kingdom fall into the hands of the Wither. He's soon to be worried that Wither will follow them.
King Alexander: I can't believe it's all my fault, and I've made my kingdom fall.
Stark: How is it your fault, your majesty?
King Alexander: I tried to revive my son, but instead, I created a monster.
Stark: Wait, you tried to revive your son, but it ended up turning into a monster? How?
King Alexander: It's because of this grimoire.
Frieren heard the words of what the king said, and she was shocked to hear about it.
Frieren: Did you say that you created a monster from that grimoire?
King Alexander: Indeed.
Frieren: Then what kind of grimoire is that?
The king handed the grimoire to Frieren, and she was shocked.
Frieren: Wait a second... This grimoire is from a dark witch.
Stein: Oh, the dark witch? We beat her, Frieren. Why do you mention her?
Frieren: Look, it's an actual grimoire from her, and it even has spells that she hasn't yet crafted.
Stark: Interesting...
While Frieren, Stark, and Stein are having a conversation about the grimoire, the king questions Eren.
King Alexander: Eren, where do we head out?
Eren: We're going north to the Kingdom of Redstonia.
King Alexander: We could visit the kingdom and warn about the wither.
Frieren: Nobody is going to believe us. Unless we told them the evidence.
Stein: The explosion of the Wither is so huge, Frieren. Maybe the other kingdoms will notice and believe us, but they only saw the explosion.
They began to head north, and there were challenges as they rode on the cart. They first stop at the desert village. The locals were nice and let them stay for a few days.
Frieren: I hope my brother is okay.
Stein: Don't worry, Frieren. He'll be fine once the effects are gone.
Stein and Frieren are watching Brennen. Eren, Stark, and the king are outside the sandstone houses. Eren takes care of the horse while Stark and the king look at a sandstone temple being built. Then, one of the locals talked to them.
Villager: Are you guys interested in watching our new temple?
Stark: Yes, but why have you guys built a temple? Is it for the gods? Or something?
Villager: Well, that temple is more than just worshiping our god. It's also used to hide treasures. By tomorrow, the temple will be finally finished.
King Alexander: Anyways, I'm exhausted. Do you guys have water?
Villager: Sure, follow me, and I'll lead you to a well.
Stark looked at the temple while the king went to the well to get some water. Then, as the king got a jar of water, a camel went towards him.
King Alexander: Whoa! Hey there, fella! You seem kind of thirsty, like me!
The camel drinks a jar of water that the king used.
King Alexander: Well, I could just get another one.
He then went to the well to fill another jar for himself until he saw something in the distance. A creature on the side of a mountain stared right through his soul, making him feel uneasy. The creature who looked at him had green fur with dark patches that blended in with the tall grass and red eyes and claws. This made the king feel like something was about to repeat itself. He feels some sort of deja vu until a local decides to talk to him.
Villager: Are you okay? You looked uneasy.
Then, the king looked at the local and then looked back at the creature, but it disappeared.
King Alexander: I am fine, but there's something in the distance. The way that the mob looked at me felt strange... It has green fur with patches, red eyes, and claws.
Villager: You must be talking about the Great Brawly Creeper.
When the king heard those words, He suddenly got confused.
King Alexander: The Great Brawly Creeper? Who's he or her? Is it a mob? Or a person?
Villager: Geez, you've got a lot of questions for one guy that protects this village.
The king seems to be interested in a creature that protects this village.
King Alexander: Could you tell me more about the Great Brawly Creeper?
Villager: Well, it's a long story, but I'll tell you the necessary parts. You see, he used to be part of the destruction clan. A clan that didn't follow the ways of the kingdom of Redstonia. They begin making artificial mobs to cause chaos and destruction by following the dark grimoire made by a dark witch. It began as a civil war and then a great kingdom war. Back then, Brawly Creeper was used as a weapon in Restore the Right Redstonia, or RRR for short. Then he realized he had done wrong, so he switched sides to the actual Redstonia, which is an ally of your kingdom.
King Alexander: Hmm, interesting. I remembered my father joining the great war between Redstonia, Zauberhaft, Hüter, Urwald, and my kingdom, Grozav. I didn't know that there was a civil war in Redstonia.
Villager: Oh, you must be the king of Grozav?
King Alexander: You're right. Now, go back to the story.
Villager: After a long battle, he then found an abandoned desert village. He then rebuilt this village into what it is now. No one knows what his face looked like or how he could live so long.
King Alexander: It's a very interesting story that your village was built by a destructive monster.
Villager: I know, right?
After the conversation between them, the king went to one of the sandstone houses that Stark, Frieren, Eren, Brennen, and Stein stayed in. Then, the creature that looked at the king was interested in him. Meanwhile, in the kingdom of Grozav, also known as King Alexander's kingdom, The Wither fully destroyed the entire kingdom. After it destroys the kingdom, it's still bloodthirsty, wanting to destroy more living beings, and it heads towards the north. To be continued.
