"NO!!" Brennen shouted and cried as the ship where Carla was started to burn and sink. Then, the flying debris flew to the ship where Stein and Brennen were, and it broke, "Go somewhere safe, Brennen!" Stein shouted as the fires began to spread. Stein tried to extinguish but it made the fire even wilder. Stein and Brennen jumped off the ship and latched on to a floating wood. "This is the worst day of my life..." Brennen sobbed Stein replied, "Yeah... Seeing everyone die in front of us is so... Painful to see, Brennen."

They start to swim across the seas but they have not found land on the horizon. "This is getting harder... Brennen, do you have food in your inventory? I ran out of food and we are stranded for days!" Stein exclaimed. Brennen said, "Do not give up, Stein." He then swam to him and gave him a bottle of honey, "This honey can make us less hungry for days." Stein drank it, "Brennen, we should conserve our stamina."

They swam across the seas, and with no luck, they still had not found a single land yet until a thunderstorm struck. "AHH!! BRENNEN!! KEEP HOLDING!!" Stein cried while he held Brennen's hand as the storm roared across the seas. Then, a huge wave as high as tall as the mountains splash down at them, and both Stein and Brennen are separate. "STEIN!!" Brennen screamed in panic and tried to swim up. Then he latched on a floating wood "STEIN!!" He coughed as the storm roared. "Please..." He cried "Somebody save me..." The enchanted mushroom box that Brennen held in his inventory was washed away and he lost consciousness.

Hours passed, and the storm subsided; Brennen washed away from shore, and then he coughed out the water and woke up, "Ugh... Where... Where am I?". "Carla? Stein?" He called for help but no one came, and he was on a stranded island. "I guess that I have to survive on my own," he thought for a while and remembered the enchanting mushroom that his father gave him, "I almost forgot! When I'm alone or in danger, I use one of those enchanted mushrooms that Father gave me! But... Why did not I plant it in the first place when my sister was about to die!?"

He rammed his head into a tree and fell, "Ow... It must be in my inventory." He then checked, but it was lost. "Huh!? Where is it? Oh, no, no, no! AH! WHY!?" He raged furiously then he cried, "I'm all alone..." He laid his body on the sand. Then, he heard a cow mooing at him, "Huh? Oh, yes! Food!" He pulled out his flaming axe and then killed it for food, "Yes! Finally!" Then he ate it. He suddenly has the motivation to move, to survive, and to hunt, "Don't worry Frieren and Carla, I can do this." He smiles and begins to survive in the forests of the island. The only items inside his inventory are his flaming axe, sticks, gold, and logs.

First, he punched trees to collect logs, turned them into planks, and then crafted them into a workbench. Then, he crafted wooden tools and weapons, and he looked for food. "If only this place was wide, I could find a herd of cows," he looked around the island and found nothing. Then, he went into the forests and luckily, he found a flock of four sheep, "Yes! Food and bed!" He slew them with his axe.

As he hunts more and more, his flaming axe's durability slowly decreases, and he notices that and says, "I've got to conserve my axe's durability; otherwise, it will be broken." He then switched to his wooden sword and it broke after thirty hits. "Aw man, the wooden sword sucks," he said, then he dug five blocks deep to reach the stone level, "If I got stone, my time of mining and hunting would be easier." He crafted the cobblestones and sticks into stone tools. He then collected enough materials to build a house before sundown. Hours passed, and Brennen finally finished the house he made, "Finally! It ain't that much, but it's honest work," he said then went inside his home, crafted a bed, and slept.

Meanwhile, in Evoke's army of ships, everyone celebrates their victory in destroying the city of Hüter, "Good thing my Totem of Undying keeps me alive," he said, and then made a speech at the pilot, "Well, folks! We had done a great mission!" Evoke smiled widely and drank with an army of hostile mobile entities. He then does a sign language to the pilot of his sister ship, "How's the ship going?" He asked and then looked at a telescope. His skeleton replied also in sign language, "Sir, the ship is going well, and the third ship is also well. There are no defects to this secondary and the third ship." "I'm glad our army is unstoppable, not even 'The Creator' can destroy us!" Evoke shouted and laughed.
