disneyland pt. 2

part two!!

sorry for updating this series so late, kinda procrastinated

also what motivated me is the fact that they just went to disneyland, which i expected to happen sooner or later

olivia and louis are up early the next morning and arrive at disneyland just after rope drop. even then, there's already crowds of people in the park, to louis' surprise and olivia's expectation. and there's only more of them coming, they both know.

here they are, standing in main street in front of the famous cinderella castle. the nostalgic scent of churros and ice cream fill the air and families with mickey ears on their heads pass them by in large groups.

olivia looks up at louis then. he has his own minnie mouse ears headband over his yankees baseball cap and his arm is wrapped around her waist. his eyes are set on the castle, but if he notices olivia's gaze our of the corner of his eye, he doesn't mention it.

"this castle is much more of a beautiful sight right now than in the pictures," louis whispers, almost to himself. then he finally looks down at the girl next to him. "and i know why."

olivia meets his glance. "really? why?"

"because you're standing next to me. that way, i get to see both at the same time."

olivia swears her heart melts. "what did i do to deserve you?" she stands on her toes to kiss him. "you're too sweet."

"i should be the one asking that."

"oh my gosh, are you guys olivia rodrigo and louis partridge?" a woman who seems to be just a few years older than them asks excitedly, walking up to them.

"yeah, that's us," olivia says with a smile at the fan's excitement.

"sorry, i'm so dumb for asking that. it was obvious in the first place."

louis chuckles. "ah, well, you can never be too safe. someone came up to me once and said i looked like... well, myself, and walked off. but anyway, we'd love to take a picture with you."

louis takes the woman's phone and positions all of them in the frame and takes the picture. but before they leave he asks, "oh, before you go, would you mind taking our picture? i can do the same for you two."

"oh, yeah, of course! it'd be my pleasure," she replies happily as she takes his phone, taking a few shots of them in front of the castle. there's one shot where they kiss, and olivia thinks she may just add that picture to her insta photo dump.

after they return the favor for the couple they go buy some churros—both chocolate-covered. it's messy, though, with the sugar continuing to spill onto their clothes, but that doesn't mean it isn't worth enjoying.

"is it weird that i feel nostalgic?" louis asks before biting into his churro and chewing. "like i've... been here before even though i haven't..."

"well, technically you went to disney world so maybe that explains it," olivia reasons. "but anyway, that's what i've been telling you. disney just has to power to do that."

"true. but you were right." he glances around, thinking that there's far too much to look at and most things catch his attention. he turns to his girlfriend, hoping she'll know where to go. "so where do we start?"

"wherever you want to go."

louis looks around again and he points to the first thing he sees: it's the astro orbiter ride with all the planets sticking out in the sky. "i mean, i can't ignore that. let's look around over there."
