Miraculous Marichat

Chapter 11

Just wanted to add here, this is before Season 4 (and maybe before season 3) so a few things are definitely different.

Marinette POV

"What do you think they went to talk about?" Alya looked over at me as she said it. "I'm getting a little worried." I looked over at her with a smile, and replied. "Alya, chill, let them be, they're probably on their way back right now." Alya turned to see the boys coming back and sitting in their chairs. She leaned over to whisper something in Nino's ear, I couldn't really hear what they were saying, and it wasn't really my business, so I let it be and went back to work. After a few more minutes of working, I could feel eyes looking over at me, so I looked up to see Adrien staring at me. "Need something?" I asked him. "Huh? Oh! Sorry, I didn't mean to stare, uh yes actually." I closed my journal where I had my notes in and gave him my full attention. "What's up?" He seemed kinda fidgety, nervous and that was for a reason I did not know. "I have some free time after school, and I haven't been getting the best grades lately, so I was wondering if you could help tutor me." He gave a very awkward smile, it was cute seeing Adrien so nervous, and he didn't need to be. "Sure, I can help, just tell me what time and I'll be here to help." He smiled brightly at me. "Awesome! Meet me back in the library at 4 o'clock." I smiled and nodded at him. "Sounds good" I turned to see Alya and Nino looking smugly at the both of us. Just then, the bell rang, all four of us packed up our work tablets, journals, pictures, folders, and post-it notes into our respective school bags. We were on our way to our next class, but unfortunately for me, Chloé appeared with Sabrina on her right with her foot stuck out, I still had my bag open while it was in my hand, I was going to close it but, when Chloé stuck her foot out, everything I had in my bag spilled out. "Hahah!! You should really watch where you're going, Dupain-Cheng." Adrien, Alya and Nino had turned around and saw me on the ground, Adrien was quick and knelt down to help me gather my things. I saw Nino holding Alya back as she was screaming things at Chloé. I had just about everything back in my bag except for a note I don't remember putting in, I reached out to grab it but Chloé snatched it up from the ground. "What's this? Seems like it would be a math note or something." She spoke aloud, Sabrina spoke up with a suggestion that was slightly expected. "Why don't you read it aloud Chloé, what if it's a love note or something personal." She said, everyone knew Sabrina might have a good heart, but she was always around Chloé, saying mean things, helping her bully people, sneaking around to try and get information on people to give to Chloé, she always did the dirty work for Ms. Bourgeois and everyone was wondering when she would finally snap. Chloé tried to look like she was thinking hard, but we all knew she was going to read it aloud to see if she could embarrass me in any way possible. "Good Idea Sabrina, I think I will." I sighed exasperated, ready for whatever was about to come, I have gotten used to Chloé's teasing throughout the years, so I was prepared and had very little emotion for most of her tricks and teases but what was about to happen next shocked me just as much as everyone else. She cleared her throat and began to read. "Sorry to leave early purrincess." I gasped, Chat left me a note last night, and she was reading it out to everyone (including me) for the first time! She stopped for a moment to look around for reactions and smirked upon seeing mine in particular, and then continued. "But I have to get back home and get ready for school as well, thank you for the outfit, snacks, and wonderful night. I hope you have an amazing day at school and I bid you farewell. - Your favorite kitty, Chat Noir." Chloé had finished reading the note and started laughing, Sabrina joined along while I sat on the ground. "Are you and Chat Noir dating or something? I mean it makes sense, the worst superhero and Maritrash." They both continued laughing. My eyes flashed red, an anger bubbled up inside of me, I finally stood up, stomped over to a laughing Chloé. She seemed amused at my facial expression, finally getting a reaction out of me. What happened next surprised everyone in the vicinity, I slapped Chloé Bourgeois right in the face, hard, so hard a mark started showing immediately. I snatched the note from out of her hands speaking right up in her face, she seemed to cower under me, she realized she went too far this time. "This is none of your business, we aren't dating and he does not even come close to the worst superhero, the real most awful hero was Queen Bee. There's a reason you don't have a miraculous any more Ms. Bourgeois, now if you'll excuse us, we all have class that starts soon." I spoke to her as if there was venom dripping from my tongue, we were both on the verge of tears for different reasons. I put the note in my bag, zipped it up, and walked away with Alya, Nino, and Adrien following close behind. Chloé stood still, like she was frozen, someone had finally stood up to her, and it hurt like hell.
