Chapter 4

Chat Noir's POV

Marinette was in her room on her phone, probably on a call with someone. Marinette sighed, "Okay, we'll hang out next week" she then ended the call. I knocked on her window and that seemed to distract her from how upset she looked. She smiled and let me in from the window. "What's a stray cat like you doing here?" She asked with her usual smug face she had when I visited. "I came to visit my purrincess, this stray cat has had a rough night.'' I said, being very dramatic, putting my hand over my heart. Marinette's face went from her usual smug face to a very soft face "Do you wanna talk about it?" She seemed very worried. "My father says my grades have been dropping a little and if I don't figure out how to get them up again I have to go back to homeschool" I felt tears in the corners of my eyes, she didn't say anything she just walked up to me and hugged me. After a little bit she finally said "Maybe you could find a tutor?" She still didn't break the hug after saying that. "I haven't even thought about that, maybe I could tell him after school tomorrow" she smiled "Wanna watch a movie?" I simply nodded and she started a movie that she knew I've been wanting to watch for a while now. For the next few hours we talked, played games, watched movies, ate a few snacks, and I watched her design in her sketchbook. "It's almost 11:00 princess, I should head home." I said checking the clock on the shelf near her bed. "Goodbye kitty," she smiled. "Thank you for the wonderful night." I smiled back, bowed, and kissed her hand. "Cya later princess" I said. "Bye kitty" she waved and I jumped out the window and hopped on rooftops all the way to my house. "Plagg, claws in'' Plagg flew out of my ring and went to his camembert cabinet. After I got ready for bed I got under the covers with Plagg on my other pillow "Goodnight Plagg" I said "Night kid" then I drifted off to sleep not even thinking about my fight with Ladybug.
