Chapter 9

3rd person POV

Chat was waiting patiently on Marinette's chaise, while she grabbed a tray of bread with different cheeses on them. She placed them on her desk as she covered Chat's eyes. "Hey! What're you doing?" She giggled before responding, whispering in his ear. "It's a surprise minou" He blushed a deep shade of red, red enough to rival Ladybug's costume. Being too flustered to speak, he nodded and covered his eyes. While Marinette set up some blankets, pillows, pastries, and her laptop for their movie night. "Okay minou, you can open your eyes now." He opened his eyes to see the little area she had set up for them. He ran up to her and hugged her once again "Thank you princess" Marinette blushed slightly, but hugged back. Chat ran to turn off the lights around the room, while Marinette turned on the movie. After Chat was done with the lights, he ran over to Marinette and snuggled with her. Chat had fallen asleep near the end of the movie all snuggled up next to Marinette, she closed the laptop and looked down at her crush- 'Wait what? I don't like him do I? I can't like him, he's my best friend, and besides I like Adrien, right?' She thought to herself. She was able to pick him up and move him up to her bed. "Goodnight kitty" she whispered softly to him, as she kissed his forehead. Chat Noir lay in her bed, as she cleaned up her room and went to sleep on her chaise. ~The next morning~ Adrien woke up to find himself on Marinette's bed, he panicked for a moment thinking he was Adrien at the moment (which he technically was), then relaxed remembering the outfit his princess made for him. He looked down from the loft to see her sleeping peacefully on her chaise below. 'She looks so peaceful, and beautiful' he thought as he climbed down the ladder to look for Plagg. "Plagg! Where are you?" He whispered out as to not wake the sleeping beauty, Plagg emerged from a little draw where unbeknownst to Adrien, was where Tikki was sleeping as well. "What do you want, kid? It's early" He rolled his eyes and responded with a sarcastic comment to his kwami, seeming not to remember that they both had to get back to the Agreste mansion. "Oh you know I just woke up early and decided to annoy you. Did you really forget that we're at Marinette's house right now? I have school today and I don't want Natalie to come into my room with me not there." The kwami also rolled his eyes before agreeing. "I guess you are right, say the words." Chat said the words he knew by heart after saying it so much and wrote a quick note before leaving, quickly putting it in Marinette's school bag. He jumped through the window leading to his bedroom. He quickly prepared for school just in time for Natalie to knock on his door. "Adrien, are you up?" Adrien yelled back to respond to Natalie. "Once you have all your stuff, come downstairs into the dining room for breakfast, I'll give you your daily activities once you've come down." She said as she left, her footsteps receding. Plagg flew into Adrien's white outer shirt as he grabbed his school bag, and left for the dining room. "You have one photoshoot before school starts, fencing right after school, then piano and Chinese lessons for 20 minutes each, and after you finish your homework you are free to do what you choose, if you wish to spend time with friends, you may." Adrien's eyes lit up, it was very rare that he was able to hang out with his friends. "Thank you Natalie" Adrien smiled brightly at her, she gave a small smile back. "Also, if your father finishes his work earlier, he might be able to have dinner with you this time." Adrien was ecstatic, he quickly finished his breakfast and headed out to the car with Natalie close behind him. ~After the photoshoot~ Adrien rushed into the classroom. The bell had rung so he had little time before he was officially late. Ms. Bustier had just gotten to Adrien for roll call, "Adrien Agreste" she called out. He burst through the door, panting clearly out of breath, "Here" he said between breaths.
