Adrien POV

Marinette took out some textbooks from her bag to begin the tutoring session. "So, anything you don't understand in physics, or should we move on to a harder subject that is a bit too hard for you to grasp?" She asked, looking at me. "Physics is what I understand most at the moment, I don't really have any trouble with that, but biology has been a bit harder." She nodded and opened her school tablet and opened her notes she had taken during class. "What is it you don't understand about it at the moment?" "Since I've had a lot on my mind, I haven't really been paying attention a lot in class, so, uh, everything?" A nervous smile made its way onto my face, my right hand went to my neck. "I've noticed something about you." I looked at her with a confused expression, what does she mean by that? "And what have you noticed pri- pretty beautiful friend of mine." She looked at me with a very confused expression, but said nothing of it. "I notice when you get nervous, you always have a sheepish smile on your face, and you put your right hand on your neck." I thought about it for a moment, I realized she was right, I do that quite often. "I guess you're right, I haven't realized that till now." She chuckled, one of my favorite sounds ever, and then began explaining a few things on biology. After a few minutes, I began to understand, and she helped me with a few questions on the homework page, we then moved on to chemistry. Chemistry was one of the harder subjects, not just for me, for most students. She put away the biology books and notes, then took out the chemistry ones. We worked on that for a little bit longer than we did biology. We moved onto all of the other subjects before Marinette asked me another question. "Which is harder for you at the moment? Math or history?" She asked, making eye contact with me. "History has always been a bit harder for me, even before my grades started dropping." She nodded and we began with math. After we were done with that, I checked the time, chuckling as I saw how much time had passed. "Wow, this has taken an hour and 30 minutes, we've been working for a while huh?" She laughed as well, "Yeah, I guess it has. So do you want to work on history specifically tomorrow and go home now? Or continue for a little while longer to finish homework?" I thought about it for a moment, it would take a couple minutes to get home, and I still have piano to practice for 20 minutes when I leave to go to the pris- I mean, my house. "I think we should continue this tomorrow, I'm walking home today and I have some piano lessons for when I get to my house." She nodded and started packing the textbooks and notes into her bag. "Oh! I almost forgot, I packed some pastries for you, they're homemade. You did really well today, so here's your reward." She smiled at me while handing the bag of pastries to me. I smiled back, they were still warm too. "Thank you Marinette, I really appreciate it, I'm not really allowed to have a lot of sugar and stuff like that, so I'll be sure to be very sneaky." I winked at her when I said 'sneaky' and almost immediately regretted it, my face was so red, I could rival Ladybug's costume. Marinette's face was slightly less red than mine. "I-I'm sorry! Did I do something wrong!? Sorry, I don't know why I did that!" She started laughing, then I joined as well. The librarian had to 'sshh' us from her own desk, we both tried to quiet down and mostly succeeded. "You're fine Agreste, but you might wanna get going soon. So you don't get in trouble with your dad." I nodded at her, packing my stuff up as well, we both walked out of the library and through the front doors of the school. Marinette turned to me as we were walking down the steps. "You know Adrien you haven't given me a nickname yet, when are you going to come up with one sunshine boy?" I faked being offended at her, putting my hand over my heart, and staring at her with wide eyes. "How dare you? Sunshine boy, why, I might just make a nickname for you after all." We both started laughing at the same time. It felt nice to be weird, funny, and not perfect as Adrien, and being like that around Marinette made it all 10 times better. "Why don't you act like that more often, you're really funny, in fact, your humor reminds me of someone else I know." She said while smiling at me, I think I had a pretty good idea of who she was talking about, and I wondered who she would say I reminded her of. "Is that so? Who is this mysterious person, might I ask Ms. midnight hair?" She looked at me with a mix of surprise, confusion, and pride. "Huh, 'Ms. midnight hair', I don't know what to think of that, leave the nicknames to someone else" I playfully scowled at her, she was trying to change the subject wasn't she? "Don't you try to swerve away from the question, come on! Who do I remind you of?" She sighed, she was trying to come up with an idea quickly, unsure of what to do. Should she lie, tell the truth, or half-lie? She sighed, I assume she decided to just tell the truth. "You have to promise not to tell anyone, maybe Nino or Alya, but no one else, I trust you Adrien." She said looking in my eyes as she said the last part, I realized she really trusted me, enough to let me know who she was hanging out with in secret. I nodded, glad she trusted me, "You remind me a lot of Chat Noir, we've been hanging out a lot, and you acting silly and not your perfect personality, really reminds me of him." She smiled, looking at the ground thinking of me, I could see a smile and a light blush dust her cheeks, just looking at her so happy just talking about Chat Noir made me smile and my face heat up slightly. I smiled at her, and put my arm around her shoulder. "Don't you worry, Mari, I won't tell a soul, except maybe Nino, your secret is safe with me." I said smiling proudly. She smiled back up at me, then a smirk crossed her face, "I like Mari, I suggest you stick with it." She laughed slightly as the words escaped her mouth. "Well Mr. Model, are you gonna start heading home or are you going to stay here all night?" She hugged me, then after realizing what she was doing, I hugged back, we said our farewells, then headed our own ways.
