Chapter 19

3rd person POV

Chat had passed out in Marinette's arms, after a long night of eating snacks and laughing he was really tuckered out. Marinette smiled softly while looking at him, she picked him up and moved him up to her bed. After carefully setting him down she looked at him and wondered 'How did I fall for you Chat?' She then looked at his lips, then eventually, she gave into her temptation and lightly pecked his lips with her own. She climbed down the ladder and sat on her chair near her computer to finish her homework. Until she realized what exactly had happened. She slapped both of her hands to her mouth, turning bright red. She ran face first into her pillow that was sat on her chaise, a muffled scream could be heard from the other side of the room. Tikki flew out of her little bed area to see what was going on with Marinette this time. "Marinette, what's wrong?" Tikki asked, floating above her holder. "Tikkiiiiiii, Chat fell asleep in my arms so I took him up to my bed for him to sleep and my impulses took over and I gave him a peck on the lipssss!" Tikki then grinned widely, very, VERY, happy. "Well it's a start" she stated shrugging her shoulders. "Tikki!" Marinette whisper yelled. Said kwami flew away giggling. Just then a bright green light flashed from Marinette's loft bed and Plagg came floating down. Marinette held him in her hands, "Hungry?" She questioned, Plagg just nodded, Marinette set Plagg with Tikki in her bed and went to grab some camembert. When she came back she saw the hair of Chat noir, in Chat themed pajamas? She paid no more attention to him because she did not want to figure out his identity without him telling her. She set the plate of camembert near the bed where the two kwamis were sleeping and turned off all the lights. She sat at her desk continuing her homework until it was finished. When she was finished with everything it was 4 am, she decided it would be a good time to start getting ready for school.. She prepared breakfast for her and Chat. Then she brushed her teeth, got dressed, and fixed the bun Chat did earlier. The time it took for her to get ready (without rushing because she wasn't late) took about an hour and a half. She wrapped Chat's breakfast in plastic wrap, wrote a note, and left it at her desk for Chat to see, Tikki flew into her bag and she left, leaving for school. When Adrien awoke it was already 1 pm! He went down the ladder to find a plate wrapped in plastic wrap with a note written by Marinette on it. He read the note and went downstairs from Marinette's room and into the kitchen. Since it was the afternoon he expected Marinette's parents to be downstairs in the bakery, and he was right, he quickly reheated the breakfast she had made for him and ate it. He sat up to wash his dishes, he turned on the water and began washing. Just then he heard footsteps, someone was walking up the stairs and would soon see him, if it was Marinette's parents they might think something was going on between them, if it was Marinette she'd either wonder what her friend and classmate was doing in her house (especially since he hasn't been at school all day) or she would figure out his secret identity. Just as he was done washing his dishes and putting it in the drying rack, the door opened, he didn't have enough time to run now, he had to keep his back facing the door so that if it was Marinette, she wouldn't figure his identity out. He turned the water off just as the door shut. The footsteps kept getting closer until he could hear breathing behind him. "Chat?" Adrien sighed in relief. "Hi princess" Marinette wore a puzzled expression. "Why aren't you looking at me? And why are you still here?" he scratched the back of his neck. "I woke up just a little bit ago, and I didn't transform so I'm not going to look at you until I've transformed." Marinette nodded, even though he couldn't see. "I'll close my eyes so you can go get Plagg and transform, also I gave him some camembert so he should be fully charged, especially if he's been sleeping as long as you have." she laughed at the last part. He laughed as well, she closed her eyes while Adrien ran to go transform. He came back moments later now in his classic leather suit instead of his Chat Noir themed pajamas. "You can open your eyes now princess." He said to her, she opened her eyes not even a second later. "Tell me Chat, what'd you think of your breakfast lunch?" She said, looking at him. His eyes lit up, very excited now. "I loved it! At my house we don't have stuff as delicious as this! Can you teach me how to make it?" Marinette laughed at his huge adorable eyes. "It's really simple, you just get a croissant, slice it open in the middle, and put some of your favorite fruits in." Chat looked at her with the same eyes. "Why did you put berries in mine?" Marinette laughed. "Because I don't know your favorite fruit Chat." He asked another question. "What was the sweet cream stuff on the berries?" Marinette laughed again. "It's just a simple cream recipe used on cupcakes, cakes, in our macaroons, just something I use a lot." Chat wrote down all of the instructions on his baton phone. "Do you know the recipe instructions and ingredients?" Marinette rolled her eyes, took his baton in the process and took out a cooking book from her cupboard. She wrote down all the ingredients and the order in which to combine them. Also writing down in the order plus a video on how to cut the croissant correctly. Saving them both, she handed Chat his baton and put the cookbook away. "How did you know how to put notes into this?" Marinette was nervous for a brief moment but came up with an excuse that would probably be believable. "Do you keep forgetting that I was Multimouse? And that Ladybug taught me just about everything?" Chat's face turned red in embarrassment. Marinette started laughing until she heard footsteps, it was her parents, she then looked at the clock. "Shoot! I should be heading back to school now, and I assume that because you've been sleeping all day that you haven't gone to school nor will you go to school." He laughed nervously before replying. "Yeah, but, umm, do you want me to drop you off?" Marinette looked confused "Why would you need to drop me off? It's a short walk," Chat shrugged. "I know, but why not?" As Marinette was about to protest, Chat scooped her up bridal style and jumped out the window, which was on the other side of the couch in Marinette's house. He carefully set her down RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE SCHOOL DOORS WHERE EVERYONE COULD SEE!!!! People stopped walking when they saw

Chat carrying Marinette bridal style then set her down carefully. Marinette's face turned very red, Chat noticing this took advantage of the situation and decided this would be the best time to embarrass her even more. He took Marinette's hand and kissed it while bowing. "Au revoir ma princesse" He said, taking another bow, then leaping off to go to Marinette's house to wait for her. After he had leaped off people began whispering to their friends. Marinette decided to sprint to her classroom and get this day over with. When she burst in there wasn't anyone in the class except for Alya, Nino, and Ms. Bustier. Alya noticed Marinette's bright red face and motioned for her to sit down. Marinette sat down next to her burying her face in her hands. "Sooo, dudette, you find out where Adrien is?" Alya looked at her friend as well. "Yeah, you said you would when you got home. Did you find anything out?" Marinette basically stopped moving at that point, before putting her head down on the table. "I totally forgotttt." Alya looked puzzled. "How? You said you would right before you got home, also, Adrien's your crush, how could you forget?" Marinette groaned. "I was going to call him when I got to my living room, but when I stepped in there, there was SOMEONE waiting for me." Alya seemed confused but didn't say anything. "Quick question dudette, why is your face so red?" Just then the whole class came in. Rose answering Nino's question. "Chat Noir came to school holding Marinette bridal style, carefully setting her down, then he kissed her hand and said 'Au revoir ma princesse'!! It was so cute and romantic!!" Rose exclaimed. Marinette's face turned even more red. While Alya's turned to one of shock and amusement. Nino, knowing that Adrien was Chat Noir, was very surprised that he would do something so bold, but then remembered that being Chat was an escape from his 'model' persona. "Guess I know where Adrien has been all day." Nino whispered to himself. "Say something Nino?" Alya said, looking at him. "Nothing, just talking to myself."
