"I hate you." Way says, loud and clear.

"Good because I hate you too," Charlie yells back.

"Then why are you just standing here then, fuck off." Way says, but instead of seeing Charlie leave again, he gets an unexpected kiss from Charlie.

Way is taken aback by the sudden gesture and pushes Charlie away.

"What the hell are you doing?!" Way shouts, his face turning red with anger and confusion.

Charlie looks at him with a mischievous glint in his eyes. "I'm tired of our stupid fights. I don't hate you, Way. I never could."

Way's expression softens slightly as he struggles to process Charlie's words. "But you said-"

"I know what I said, but I didn't mean it. I... I care about you," Charlie admits, his voice wavering slightly.

Way's heart races as he tries to comprehend the sudden change in their dynamic. "I don't know what to say..."

Charlie reaches out to grasp Way's hand. "You don't have to say anything. Just give me a chance to show you how I feel."

Way hesitates for a moment before nodding slowly. "Okay, I'll give you a chance."

As they stand there, lost in their newfound feelings for each other, the air crackles with tension and the promise of something new.

As they stood there, the realization of their true feelings for each other sank in. A mix of fear, excitement, and uncertainty swirled in the air around them.

They both knew this moment marked a significant turning point in their relationship. The wall of resentment and hostility they had built between them seemed to crumble in an instant, leaving behind the raw emotions they had been hiding.

As they looked into each other's eyes, they could see the vulnerability and honesty that had been absent in their interactions before. At that moment, they both knew that they were on the brink of taking a chance on something real, something that had been simmering beneath the surface for so long.

They stood there, silently acknowledging the unspoken promise between them. It was the promise of mutual understanding, forgiveness, and a willingness to start anew.

Neither of them could predict what the future held for them, but at that moment, they were willing to take a leap of faith and explore the uncharted territory of their feelings. For the first time in a long while, they dared to hope that maybe, just maybe, their animosity could transform into something beautiful.

They both knew that the road ahead wouldn't be easy. There would be moments of doubt, misunderstandings, and possibly even setbacks. But they were both willing to confront their shortcomings and work through the challenges together.

As they tentatively stepped into this new chapter, they made a silent pact to communicate openly, to listen with empathy, and to be patient with each other. It was a commitment to learn from their past mistakes and grow together.

With a mixture of trepidation and anticipation, they began to slowly navigate their way through uncharted territory. It was a journey filled with uncertainty, but there was also a glimmer of hope that each step they took would lead them closer to a deeper connection and a stronger bond.

They were both aware that rebuilding trust and transforming their relationship would take time and effort, but they were determined to put in the work. As they gingerly embraced this new beginning, they knew that their willingness to break down barriers and be vulnerable with each other was the first step towards something beautiful and real.

"Are you scared?" he asked, his voice filled with vulnerability.

He looked into his eyes, seeing the same trepidation reflected in them. "Terrified," he admitted, his voice barely above a whisper.

He reached for his hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. "Me too," he confessed with a shaky smile. "But we have a chance to make things right, to build something real."

He nodded, feeling the weight of his words sink in. "I want that too," he said, his voice filled with determination.

They stood there, holding onto each other's hands, knowing that their journey ahead wouldn't be easy, but also understanding that they were in it together. As they embraced their shared commitment, they found solace in the fact that they were finally willing to take a chance on something beautiful and real.

"Charlie, can we go on a date?" Way ask.

Charlie had been calm and quiet, but he was happy all at the same time. "Yes, I would love to Way. Thank you for asking." Way kisses Charlie out of the blue and this ends up being their second kiss because Charlie had done so first.

As they walked hand in hand to their favorite restaurant, Charlie couldn't help but think how lucky he was to have Way in his life. He felt a sense of warmth and comfort knowing that they were taking this next step in their relationship.

Their date was filled with laughter, deep conversations, and stolen glances. As they walked home, Charlie realized that he had never felt this way about anyone before. He knew that he wanted to spend more time with Way, to get to know them even better, and to see where this relationship would take them.

As they said their goodbyes at the end of the night, Charlie couldn't help but smile. This date had been everything he had hoped for and more, and he couldn't wait to see what the future held for him and Way.
