Nobody understands anything to do with life, especially yourself. That's why you're in it. That's why you live it. That's why you do what you think is best for yourself.
.
He lived a life that wasn't what he wanted. But he lived it nonetheless.
He lived his life to the fullest and he did so because he knew he needed to.
He lived that life that was given to him because it was an opportunity to do better for himself.
But it wasn't the life he wanted. He wanted to live his life his way. So he did it.
But he did it falling in love with somebody he didn't know he would fall in love with and it changed his life.
It changed his life because the person he fell in love with had been the same gender as his.
.
Growing up, he was told to fall in love with a woman, to marry the woman he loves, but he fell in love with a guy and changed his entire life because his family disowned him for falling in love with a man.
He fell in love with a person who held his hat with tears, because the other guy he wasn't in love with had also fallen in love with him.

Kim' POV
I know a few people don't like the way I am who I am and what I do about the fact that I'm in love with a man. Everybody looks at me differently now. And I don't know if I'll ever be okay about it. But I love him. He loves me and we are always good. Even in our bad times and our good times, we are good. We may hate each other now and then but we always get back together because we hold each other's heart in our hands.
He hates me when I moan about things that he won't do around the house.
But I hate him too when he gets home late at night and moans because he's tired but most of the time he just wants to cuddle and I'm okay about that.
But we love each other nonetheless. And we have the best love that I know could ever exist.
.
"Baby, we got to get up now. We can't stay in bed today." Kim says as he looks down at Macau who had fallen asleep on his chest with his arms around his waist. And all Kim heard was Macau say "Mmm.." and that was it. They ended up staying in bed the rest of the day and when the next day came up they cuddled and stayed by each other just as they did yesterday.
The both of them didn't get out of bed. They didn't want to. They liked the warmth of each other's embrace because it comforted them.
But after a few hours, they finally got up and made breakfast which had ended up being their lunch instead but they didn't care because this time they were doing this together.
As they sat down to eat, Kim looked at Macau and smiled, feeling grateful for the love they shared. "I love you," he said, reaching across the table to hold Macau's hand.
"I love you too," Macau replied, squeezing his hand. "I wouldn't want to spend my days with anyone else."
They continued to talk and laugh together, cherishing the simple moments they shared. Despite the judgment and disapproval from others, they knew that their love was real and strong. And as long as they had each other, they would be okay.
.
After their meal, they decided to go for a walk in the park. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, and everything felt perfect as they strolled hand in hand. They didn't need grand gestures or extravagant dates; all they needed was each other's company.
As they walked, they shared stories, dreams, and even their fears. They were a team, facing the world together, and nothing could break their bond. They found solace in each other's presence and knew that as long as they had each other, they could conquer anything.
Eventually, they found a quiet spot beneath a big oak tree, and they sat down, leaning against its sturdy trunk. Kim laid his head on Macau's shoulder, feeling the warmth of his embrace, and for a moment, time stood still. They didn't need words; their silent moments spoke volumes about the depth of their connection.
As the sun started to dip below the horizon, they made their way back home. They cooked dinner together, and as they sat at the table, they reflected on the day. They realized that it didn't matter what others thought. Their love was their own, and it was beautiful.
And as they cuddled up on the couch to watch a movie, they both knew that they were home in each other's arms. No judgment, no disapproval, just an abundance of love that they held close to their hearts. And in that moment, they were content, knowing that they had everything they needed in each other.
