Babe had cried that entire night because he no longer knew where he was or if he was home or not... and then Babe heard a voice echo in his ears and soon Babe woke up to his husband comforting him and saying sweet words to calm him down.
Charlie: Baby, it's okay, I'm here, it's just a dream. It's okay, I'm right here.
Babe snuggled closer to Charlie and he soon fell asleep again. Charlie stayed up not wanting to have Babe alone if he ever had a nightmare again. Babe continuously had these dreams after the unexpected meet-up with Way.
About 6 times babe, we're coming to a nightmare about Way forcing himself on him. Charlie stayed with Babe that entire time, making sure that he was okay telling Babe.
The sixth time they broke up. Charlie was there and he said these words.
Charlie: Babe, it's just a dream. I'm right here, right next to you. No one can hurt you. No one can harm you because I will protect you with all I have. I'm right here and I'm not going anywhere. Baby, it's okay, no more crying, okay, it's just a dream and I'm right here with you.
Charlie may have not gotten any sleep. But he didn't care about that. He just cared that Babe was okay.
This went on for hours.
And by the time it hit 5 in the morning. Charlie still hadn't gone to sleep.
Babe finally fell asleep when it hit 5 in the morning and this time he stayed asleep without a nightmare insight. This time Charlie could finally sleep, so he cuddled close to Babe and he fell asleep with Babe in his arms.
When midday came around Babe woke up first, and a second later Charlie woke up too.
Charlie: Morning my love.
Babe: Morning baby.
Charlie: Can I get a kiss?
Babe: Not unless you get up and brush your teeth first.
Charlie hurried up and brushed his teeth and Babe did the same and then Babe finally gave Charlie the loving sweet morning kiss he had asked for, but they ended up going back to bed because the both of them did not sleep well, and the both of them then fell asleep once again in each other's arms and they slept right through until the next morning.
Babe did not end up having one nightmare because Charlie held him that entire night, which gave a sense to Babe that he wasn't alone.
