⁷⁶⁰Babe x Charlie - Pt 4⁰⁶⁷

Charlie had gone to work the next day and it was a long day., a very long day, that he couldn't wait to get home to Babe.

When Charlie finally finished work and headed his way back home. He got to his driveway, pulled in, and saw another car there. He didn't know who it was. And he's never seen the car before. So he quickly parked the car, turned off the ignition, and immediately ran inside and saw Way there in his home.

Way: Please Babe, give me a chance to explain my reasoning, please.

Babe: Charlie, help.

Charlie: I think you should get out of my house, my husband is not comfortable with you being in here so suggest you leave or I will make you leave.

Way: I'm not going anywhere so stay out of my business with Babe.

Charlie: Whatever business you have with my husband is business you have with me.

Babe understood those words. He knew what his husband was about to do and if it happened Charlie would sure as hell be the one in jail.

All Charlie wanted was to keep Babe safe. And if he couldn't do that, he wouldn't know what else to do.

Charlie: You lost his trust Way. He will not forgive you for what you did to him. He can't, he lost his best friend. He lost you as his best friend. And that is on you, not him, not me, not anyone, but you. He doesn't need you anymore. He's got me now and only me. I helped him trust someone again. I helped him regain his trusting senses, not you. You are no longer welcome in my house, so leave while you can walk. I don't want to see you ever again. And neither does my husband so don't come back.

Way knew that Charlie was true to his words. He knew he did wrong, that was true. He knew what he did to Babe was not right at all. Forcing himself onto Babe was never what he intended. And he knew he lost that trust. He knew he lost the title of Babe's best friend, and now he had to live with it, for the rest of his life.

Way: I'm sorry Babe for what I put you through. I'm sorry I hurt you the way I did. I did love you. I do love you. And I believe that's never going to change but you have  Charlie now and I respect that. I love you and I'm sorry for putting you through hell.

Way then walked out the front door, hopped into his car, and drove off, he knew that if he looked back he would turn back, so Way kept looking forward and kept driving until he couldn't do it any more.

The moment he left Charlie immediately pulled Babe into a hug. A warm embrace that he knew Babe needed.

And Babe immediately melted into it, and Babe was moved by the feeling of his husband giving him the comfort he needed.

Charlie: Come on, baby, let's go to bed.

So babe went with Charlie to cuddle to kiss. But to be with each other and especially because after the little interaction, they had not so long ago. Charlie knew that his husband just needed him right this moment. And so they fell asleep together in each other's arms as peaceful as can be.

Babe: I love you, Charlie.

Charlie: And I love you always my baby.
