Somehow Damon managed to convince Rapunzel to get up early the next morning so she could join them when they talked to Katherine. She didn't want to as she didn't want to meet the vampire and she wanted to get to school on time. But Damon convinced her and she was at the tomb now, so no turning back.

She watched as Damon and Stefan moved the stone from the tomb wall. The three then waited at the edge of the tomb, as each brother stood on either side of the entrance and Rapunzel stood in the middle, although she hid herself slightly behind Damon, wanting the extra comfort.

Not long after, Katherine came around the corner so the trio could see her, and Rapunzel was shocked. Sure, she knew Elena and Katherine were doppelgängers, but she didn't realise how identical they looked.

"Please, come on in," Katherine invited, taunting the two vampires as she leant on a wall to keep her upright, clearly weak from the lack of blood, "There's plenty of room for all of us, even the human."

"I'd rather poke my eyes out," Damon claimed. Rapunzel smiled a little, slightly amused by Damon's hate for the vampire. It was entertaining.

"Mmm, but they're such pretty eyes," Katherine taunted, since this was clearly her only form of amusement. Rapunzel had to admit she felt kind of bad for the vampire, locked up all alone, forced to slowly die, forbidden from the only thing keeping her alive.

"We're here for the moonstone," Stefan told the vampire.

"Feel like tossing it over?" Damon remarked. Obviously it wouldn't be that easy, especially because the brothers were getting it so Elena didn't have to be sacrificed, which the blonde had a feeling that Katherine wanted it to happen.

"Tell you what," Katherine began as she cleared her throat, "Get your witch to hocus pocus me out of here, you can have whatever you want."

"I thought you liked it in here," Stefan reminded the vampire of what she said yesterday, "Nice and safe where Klaus can't get to you."

"I've had time to reconsider," Katherine stated, sounding parched. Rapunzel thought about getting her water bottle out and offering it to her, before remembering that she was a horrible person, and that she was thirsty for blood not water.

"Meaning your hungry," Damon spoke what they were all thinking.

"I'm starving, Damon. And dirty. But above all, I'm bored," Rapunzel hadn't realised it before but Katherine had been getting closer to them, stumbling every so often, and she was now right infront of the three, "At least running from Klaus wasn't boring - so here's the deal: you get me out of here, you get the moonstone and I'll disappear from Mystic Falls forever."

Stefan and Damon share a glance over Rapunzel's head, as Katherine walks away, deeper into the tomb calling out just before she turned the corner, "Let me know what you decide," as she held up the moonstone tauntingly.
