Brie followed Rapunzel to school the next day. She thought it was a bad idea for the blonde to come in, but she was insistent, and Brie was too worried about her to argue. When Rapunzel stopped crying in the woods, Brie had taken the girl to her house and looked over the blonde, making sure she was okay as she could be and that nothing else happened to her.

It was obvious that something happened to the faerie. She was nervous, jumping at every small sound or movement. She flinched hard anytime anything would touch her, as if reliving the memories from the night before. She just wasn't her usual bright, cheery self. Even Ida (her art teacher) found the blonde's down mood disturbing, and she ended up letting Rapunzel take a nap in her lesson (or more like ordered her to take one as she looked as though she hadn't slept for days).

Brie wasn't going to be there at lunch as she agreed to help her new girlfriend set up a display for some history workshop thing, so (with Rapunzel's permission) she told Teddy and Booker what she knew from last night, instructing the boys to check in on the blonde and make sure she was alright. They obviously agreed, feeling sympathy towards Rapunzel. Luckily though, they didn't make a big deal of it at lunch, as the three sat on their usual table, Rapunzel next to Booker as they ate their meal, waiting for Teddy to arrive.

"Guys! You'll never guess what I found!" Speak of the devil. Teddy ran over to the table, just barely stopping before he ran into it. The boy slung his bag under the table, put his tray down and slipped into the seat while the other two looked on amused, familiar with his antics.

"What did you find this time?" Booker groaned, having put up with Teddy's obsession in person all summer. Rapunzel was lucky in the fact that she only dealt with it through the phone. Apparently, at the beginning of summer, Teddy found a news article on some dodgy website claiming that the supernatural was involved with the murders and people going missing, and when he read it, Teddy became determined to prove it.

Teddy took a book out of his bag. It looked old and dusty, and way too thick, proven as when Teddy placed it on the table, it made a loud bang noise, causing Teddy to look at the onlookers with a sheepish look. Then, he turned back to his friends telling them, "These are town archives dating back to the founding of Mystic Falls. I read through the beginning bit of it, and the book claims that the Founder's established a secret underground council to deal with what they believed was a vampire infestation in their town, and from what I gather it was never disbanded!"

Booker scoffed, tolling his eyes, "Or it was a club the Founder's established to get drunk and play poker or whatever the fuck they do," Booker pointed out, before stuffing another forkful of potato in his mouth.

"Or it could be to save the town from vampires," Teddy repeated making Booker roll his eyes. Rapunzel smiled at the boys, having missed them over the summer. Over the phone was not the same as in person.
