Rapunzel was woken up by Elijah asking her to go on a history walk with him and Jenna, to which the blonde eagerly agreed to. Because of everything that happened the day before, Rapunzel didn't really want to not be with Elijah, paranoid that something would happen to her again without him. He clearly felt the same way as, unbeknownst to Rapunzel, he had continuously checked up on Rapunzel throughout the night, entering through the open window (Rapunzel always left it open as she always seemed to be hot).

Rapunzel changed into a nice dress which she had been meaning to wear. She loved the dresses of modern days, as the ones she wore when she lived in the tower were always too tight with corsets and just plain uncomfortable, whereas modern clothes were so pretty and comfortable.

While she was changing in the bathroom, Elijah befriended Wasabi, who immediately sat on the Original's lap, begging for attention. Then, when Rapunzel finished, Elijah agreed for Rapunzel to bring Wasabi with them, so the blonde put on his harness and lead before they left the house, going to meet Jenna.

They had all greeted eachother with smiles and hugs, Rapunzel revieving a rather large one from Jenna who was relived she'd have someone she actually knew help her out. They walked around the old properties in the woods, Jenna telling the other two about the history of Mystic Falls, which Rapunzel found extremely interesting.

"The old Fell property actually starts just beyond that fence," Jenna told the two. Wasabi was sniffing a tree, clearly having a great time in the woods. Despite having fun and finding the subject interesting, Rapunzel was finding it hard to walk through these old properties and woods in sandals. Not the most appropriate footwear.

"Ah, the Fells. One of the founding families," Elijah said that quite mockingly, spiking curiosity in both Rapunzel and Jenna.

"Why do you say it like that?" Jenna spoke up. Wasabi started meowing at Rapunzel's legs, so she picked him up, stroking him as the cat snuggled up into her.

"My research showed me that this area was actually settled almost two full centuries earlier. It was a migration of townsfolk from the northeast, um, it was Salem, to be precise." Rapunzel was even more intruiged than she was before.

"Massachusetts? As in the witch trials?" Jenna spoke up.

"Which means the ever-lauded founding families didn't actually found anything." Rapunzel realised.

"Well, I bet it was the men who made a big deal about being founders back in 1860. Men are very territorial," Jenna joked. Rapunzel smiled at her friend, seeing her happiness, as Wasabi began to paw at her shirt, wanting more attention which Rapunzel happily provided.

"Yes they are," Elijah agreed seeing Alaric approach the two.

"Elijah, this is my friend Alaric," Jenna introduced the two, as Alaric was now next to them. Rapunzel furrowed her eyebrows wondering why Alaric was there, but also why Jenna called Alaric her "friend" instead of "boyfriend".
