Rapunzel was up early in the morning, unable to sleep that much as thoughts kept plaguing Rapunzel's mind, so she just stayed up reading, putting her mind on other activities. But when she heard Elena enter the house in the morning, she decided it was an appropriate time to get up, so she put on her outfit for the day, texted a "good morning" to Teddy, gave Wasabi some food and refilled his water, before exiting the room. She had been wearing skirts a lot lately as they were comfortable and looked pretty, but Rapunzel decided to wear a dress which was actually incredibly comfortable.

She didn't want to interrupted Stefan and Elena, who had finally gotten back together, so she headed towards the library, where she would probably sit and read away the day. But as soon as she entered, she saw Rose. Her eyes widened and she went to exit, but then Damon entered, and she felt more at ease. She knew that everyone else didn't hate the vampire or were even afraid of her, but Rapunzel was still terrified of her, just as she would be if the tomb vampires were still alive, it was how her brain worked, and while that may not make sense to most people, and it was probably unjustified, that was just how her brain worked, no matter how much she wanted it not too.

Rose seemed like a lovely person, and she would happily want to get to know her on any other occasion, and Rapunzel is big on second chances, but everytime she looked at the vampire, all she felt was the fear that overwhelmed her when she was kidnapped alongside Elena. It was sad, but nothing could change the way her brain worked.

Therefore, as soon as Damon entered the room, Rapunzel left and went back up to her room. She sat down, preparing to do nothing until she recieved a text for Teddy asking if she wanted to meet up with him and his twin for lunch, and Rapunzel agreed, quickly rushing out of her house, remembering to bring her unlimited card that Damon compelled her.

When Rapunzel entered the Grill, she immediately spotted Teddy, making her smile. She went up to him, bringing him into a hug. Teddy learnt not long after meeting her, that Rapunzel was very much a tactile person, and would love things such as hugs, holding hands, anything of the sorts. It wasn't romantic, it wad just how she was.

Teddy had stood up to greet Rapunzel, yet Teddy's twin was still sat in her seat, staring shocked as Teddy willingly hugged someone other than her. Ever since their father died, neither of the twins got along well with anybody at school, and for a full two years they would only talk to eachother and the teachers. They would even refuse to talk to their mom, after she remarried only two months after their dad's death. He wasn't even a terrible guy, but the twins thought she moved on way too soon.

Eventually, Teddy and Rapunzel pulled away from the hug, and Teddy turned towards his twin.

"Rapunzel, this is my twin sister, Brie. Brie, this is my friend Rapunzel," Teddy introduced the two. Brie stood up with crossed arms to properly take in the girl, judging her. However, Rapunzel mistook this as an invitation to hug, and immediately brought the girl into one. Brie was going to protest, but then she realised how nice her hugs were.

"Wow. You're a good hugger," Brie commented, uncrossing her arms to wrap them around her new friend. After the hug, the three sat down and had a great time at the Grill. Rapunzel loved talking to them both, and she grew closer to Brie during the meal.

Brie was a very different person to both Rapunzel and every other girl she ever met (so Bonnie, Caroline and Elena). She was extremely smart, just as smart if not smarter than Teddy. She seemed to love parties, as almost every story she told Rapunzel happened at a party, and Teddy told her that Brie oretty much attended every party there was in the small town. She also had a little bit of a drinking problem, but Brie assured Rapunzel that she had it under control after she had to go to rehab a few years back after she got alcohol poisoning and nearly died.

They all also talked about their interests. Teddy talked about his music again, and even let Brie and Rapunzel listen to one of his recent songs and it was amazing. Brie casually mentioned how she wanted to be a pilot, prompting Rapunzel to ask what that was, which lead to the conversation about how Rapunzel is very uncultured, and Brie swore that she would teach Rapunzel everything she needed to know.

Unfortunately, after around two hours, the twins had a call from their step-father, asking them to go home, so they left, and Rapunzel decided to go back to the boarding house. She unlocked the front door, not knowing that inside the house, Rose was currently delusional, and chasing Elena through the house as she thought she was Katherine.

When Rapunzel opened the door, both Rose and Elena heard it, and Rose stopped before speeding towards the girl. Elena tried to catch up but couldn't and she shouted, "Rapunzel! Run!" But she was too late, as when she reached the front door, Rose was draining Rapunzel of her blood. Acting quickly, Elena picked up a potted plant and bashed it across Rose's head, knocking her temporarily unconscious. Elena grabbed Rapunzel, who was nearly completely drained of blood, and locked themselves in a room. Elena pushed all the furniture infront of the door, until turning to Rapunzel.

Blood was leaking out of the blonde's neck too fast and in too large amounts to be healthy. Elena took off her cardigan, using it to put pressure on Rapunzel's neck to stop the blood flow. "Please don't die," Elena begged, "You can't die." Elena kept muttering those two phrases repeatedly under her breath. She did not want Rapunzel to die. She was so nice to her, and she hadn't lived much of a life so far.

Elena heard some pounding at the door, stopping putting pressure on Rapunzel's neck to quickly break off a chair leg in case Rose came in.

"Elena!" Rose shouted from the other side of the door, "I know it's you and not Katherine. Unlock the door, the bite's healed." Elena, despite still being doubtful, put all the furniture out of the way of the door. She needed to get out if Rapunzel was going to live. When Elena opened the door, Rose was standing there, and the bite had fully healed like the vampire claimed.

The two would've speculated it further, until they remembered the blonde still dying on the floor. Luckily, Rose knew first aid, and she cleaned the wound and bandaged it, stopping the blood flow. Rapunzel was unconscious, so Rose quickly found a needle and tube so she could use one of the blood bags from downstairs to make up for the blood Rose drained. She used O negative, not knowing what blood type the blonde was.

Rose then carried Rapunzel up to her bed, laying her down and exiting the room, letting her sleep it off. She wrote a note to Rapunzel, thanking her and apologising, before she sat herself down on the living room sofa with Elena as they waited for Damon. When he entered, he was immediately confused, as Rose didn't look in pain like she did when he left, and there was no known cure.

"You're okay?" Damon quizzed, happy but not understanding why. The two then explained what happened, and they all came to the conclusion that somehow, Rapunzel's blood healed Rose. Afterwards, Damon went up to her room, feeling bad for the blonde as no one had really been a good friend to her lately. So, Damon just lay next to her, hoping she would wake up.
