The group continued walking mostly in silence, except for the occasional complaint or quiet conversation between the girls. If Alexei said anything Nat, Al and Yelena would all ignore him or give one word responses, eventually he took the hint and remained silent. Aloisia and Natasha walked hand in hand for as much as they could, they were both exhausted and incredibly fed up with her entire situation. They missed their home, and their family.

Aloisia was dealing with incredible pain that she had tried to ignore but everything she had done since the car crash, like fighting and running, has worsened her injury so it was very sore. It wouldn't be fatal but that didn't make it hurt any less. All Aloisia wanted to do was see her family again, without them wanting rip each other apart, or reply to the messages she knew peter had been sending her. But she couldn't do either of those things cause the avengers had split, and her phone was lost in a river after their car had been blown up. She wanted to help Natasha as much as she could, she wanted Natasha to be free of her past and the red room, the guilt, the pain and the memories. But Al also knew that was impossible and all she could do was try to make the experience more bearable for Nat. So she continued in silence, hoping to ignore the pain she was in not wanting to cause any more worry.

Natasha was torn, her family were about to reunite once more for the first time in 18 years, and she was terrified. She did miss the years she had with them, even though it may have been a mission. At many points in her life has she wished to go back to them and have that life again, one domestic and simplistic but she knew that could and would never happen. The only person she trusted from her family was Yelena. She wanted to become sisters with Yelena again, but was much less bothered about Alexei and Melina. Natasha was also concerned for Aloisia, she knew that her girlfriend was in pain, however hard the girl tried to hide it. Natasha knew a wound like that was bound to hurt and she also knew Aloisia. Others may not have noticed it but Nat and Aloisia had been each others lifeline for the past five years, and in a relationship for the past two. Natasha knew Aloisia so well and could tell when she was in pain. Natasha also knew Aloisia was desperately trying to stay strong for her because Al knew she was struggling.

So Natasha put up a front, though she knew Aloisia could see straight through it. Al knew Nat just as well as Nat knew Al. They knew each others better than themselves.

So the two walked as close as they could to each other, desperate for the comfort the other offered. Hoping to destroy the red room as soon as possible and get home to the avengers alive, no matter how much of a mess the group was now.

The group made their way to the fence around Melina's land, Melina stood behind it holding a sniper. Alexei seemed to ignore that and grinned at the woman "Honey, we're home" Melina silently walked forward after looking at each other them, "Come on, girls" Alexei said and began to follow the woman, the others trialing behind him.

"Welcome to my humble abode. Make yourself at home. Let's have a drink" Melina walks through, opening a hidden weapon storage and placing her sniper back down.

Natasha sees the weapons and announces. "Hey, no funny business"

"I am putting away my weapon"

"Are there any booby traps around here? Anything we need to know about?" Aloisia trials behind Natasha, glancing around the room cautiously. Watching Melina and Natasha interact.

"I didn't raise my girls to fall in traps" Melina says, Aloisia doesn't really know what to do, she feels out of place here. The only thing preventing her from actually wanting to leave is Natasha.

"You didn't raise us at all"

Aloisia slowly moves her hand and brushes the back of hers against Natasha's, unsure of whether the woman wanted her previous parent figures to see them together. But Natasha intertwines their fingers and offers Als hand a squeeze "Oh, maybe so. But if you got soft, it wasn't on my watch" Melina grabs a bottle of what Aloisia assumes is vodka.
