Thor, Aloisia, Groot and Rocket fly their pod through the vast emptiness of space towards the planet. Aloisia thinks over what Loki said to her, knowing now is not the time to tell Thor and that she will have to wait until they have some peace before she repeats Lokis words to Thor. But she will deliver on her promise to look after the God

Irritably groot grumbles. "I am Groot"

"Tinkle in the cup. We're not looking. What's there to see? What's a twig? Everybody's seen a twig" Rocket says.

"I am Groot."

While looking out the window Thor says, "Tree, pour what's in the cup out in space, and go in the cup again"

"You speak Groot?" Rockets as, turning his seat to Thor. Aloisia also understands the plant, she had been to many different planets and spoken to many different people so had picked up quite a few alien languages.

"Yes, they taught it on Asgard. It was an elective" Thor explains

"I am Groot" He says shortly.

"You'll know when we're there. Nidavellir's forge harnesses the power of a blazing neutron star" Thor says, Aloisia can see how he thinks fondly of the place and nostalgia paints his features, lost in memories of happier times he saddens realising they are not the reality he is living in, "It's the birth place of my hammer. It's truly awesome"

Rocket turns to see Thor sitting sadly beside the window, and sighs "Okay, time to be the captain" Rocket walks to a console near by Thor "So, dead brother, huh? Yeah, that can be annoying"

"Well, he's been dead before, but no, this time I think it really might be true" Aloisia frowns from her seat next to the God, placing a comforting hand on her friend's shoulder.

"And you said your sister and your dad?"

"Both dead"

"Still got a mom, though?"

"Killed by a dark elf"

"A best friend?"

"One was Stabbed through the heart. But Aloisia is also here with me" Thor says, smiling fondly at Al. Glad that he still has her, even if he has lost everyone else.

"Are you sure you're up to this particular murder mission?"

Thor smiles widely, Aloisia knows it's fake, "Absolutely. Rage, vengeance, anger, loss, regret...They're all tremendous motivators. They really clear the mind. So I'm good to go"

"You don't have to be okay Thor" Aloisia says gently.

"Yeah, but this Thanos we're talking about...He's the toughest there is" Rocket continues

"Well, he's never fought me"

"Yeah, he has"

"He's never fought me twice. And I'm getting a new hammer, don't forget. And besides, he hasn't caught Aloisia at full strength, she was using all her energy to shield my people to let them escape. I don't think I have thanked you for that yet, so thank you" Thor says turning to Aloisia

"Better be some hammer" Rocket mumbles.

"You know, I'm 1,500 years old. I've killed twice as many enemies as that, and every one would have rather killed me, but none succeeded. I'm only alive because fate wants me alive. Thanos is the latest in a long line of bastards and he will be the latest to feel my vengeance" Aloisia had never particularly realised how old Thor was, and how much experience that brings him. The goddess herself was only twenty eight, and yet still felt she had enough experience to last her a lifetime. She doesn't know how Thor has found the will to continue living for so long, always fighting, always struggling.
