The sun rises once again, this time Alimur is the first to wake up.
-Mia- He wiggles around and shakes the Scaleborn -Wake up-
-Hmmmm, but it's sooo comfy- Mia responds with her head on Alimur's shoulder.
-At least let me go so I can get ready, you can stay in the bed longer if you want to-
-But you're the one that feels comfy-
-Fine- Alimur wraps his arms around Mia's torso -I guess we can stay together a bit longer-
-Thank you- Mia says as she coils Alimur a bit tighter.
After a few minutes pass someone knocks on the bedroom door.
-Hey sir, Cath is here saying he wants us to do a job for the Duke- Salazar's muffled voice pierces into the bedroom.
-Give me a few minutes and we'll be ready- Alimur responds loud enough for Salazar to hear but not enough to be considered shouting.
-Alright Mia time's up, you need to get up this is gonna be an important job-
Mia grumbles a bit before Alimur speaks again.
-You know, maybe the Duke'll give us a house-
Mia instantly frees Alimur and starts putting on her armor, Alimur chuckles and starts getting ready as well, in short time the couple is out of the room and on their way to meet with Cath, Valok's butler.
-Good morning to you Alimur sir-
-No need to be so formal Cath, I'm no lord-
-In that case let's skip straight to businesses, the Duke has provided a carriage for you and your team to get to the abandoned village of Huia, there's been sightings of strange occurrences by traveling merchants passing through the area, and since you and your group so expertly and quickly dealt with the problem in Trion the Duke thought it best to call upon you-
-Alright, let us eat and we'll go, where's the carriage at?-
-It's at the south gate, I'll be waiting, oh and pack up properly it's a long trip- Cath turns around and leaves.
The group eats and packs up their travel supplies and finally head torwards the gate, once they reach it they see Cath is also the coach driver holding ropes connected to four horses.
-Get on in, the sooner we get there the sooner we can return- Says Cath slapping the side of the rather large carriage.
-Is this the Duke's private carriage or something?- Asks Salazar crossing his arms.
-Actually yes, Duke Valok figured he needed something big to carry a fellow Beastkin of such stature-
-See Jorn even the Duke thinks you're fat- Alimur slanders Jorn as he pokes the Beastkin's belly with his elbow.
-Sorry to inform you cap, but that's pure muscle- Jorn rebukes as he flexes.
The group chuckles a bit before putting their bags in the back and getting in the carriage, everyone gets comfortable and they hear a whipcrack and the carriage starts moving.
In Huia awaits Frost Fang, the Beastkin tries to meditate in the middle of the abandoned town but the mere thought of the Abyssal Blade drives him to madness.
-RRRRRAAAAAAHHH- Frost Fang freezes and slashes repeatedly at the nearest building bringing a chunck of the wall down -THAT DAMNED BASTARD, WHO DOES HE THINK HE IS, to be the best swordsman and simply disappear, HE'S NOTHING BUT A COWARD, he's afraid of defeat so he hides, but now his son will pay for his cowardice, I'LL RIPE OUT THAT HELMET OF HIS, HE DOESN'T DESERVE IT- He kicks around growling and spewing hateful words, after a few minutes he calms down and goes back to the former city hall to drink tea and wait, as he boils the tea he tries to maintain his composure but a distorted angry smile repeatedly crawls back into his face everytime both at happyness of the prospect to finally face the Abyssal Blade in some capacity, but also at anger that he's going through all this trouble to even get a chance to taste the legendary swordsman's skills.
