Alimur's hands shook slightly as he held his helmet but this needed to be done... the young man handed it back to his father.
-It got me through thick and thin but I don't need to be in your shadow... I... wanted to make fame myself... I still do to a degree... but I need no one other than myself and Aurora-
-Save the sob son... you have my best wishes boy- Alonne gripped the helmet and put it on.
-Good luck you two- Migoen kissed her son's forehead and tightly gripped her daughter-in-law's hand.
-Thank you two- Aurora shook the Maiden's hand with a smile.
As the duo left Alonne posed to his better half.
-Do I still look good?-
-You're never going to look as good... but you'll always taste wonderful- She spoke in a sultry tone.
-Migy- He mimicked her tone.
-Alon- She forced her voice even further.
The man removed his helmet and shared a passionate kiss with his wife.
Alimur and Aurora trekked through the forest and the Demi-Human's mind was led astray "Madah... mom... Oh no!", her expression shifted just as her husband turned to look at her, he inquired on it and was denied at first.
-Are you sure everything is alright?- His words laced in worry and care.
-It's... my mother... what if the Seles come for her?!-
-Would another letter ease your burden?-
-No- She looked to the side and stopped walking.
-Then maybe we should go back-
-Ali... I appreciate you're willing... but I'm sure it'll pass-
-Then... No... I think we should send a letter regardless-
-Thank you for caring... let's keep moving- She responded with a smile.
The couple wandered til nightfall, as they prepared their tent the brush began to move causing them to arm themselves, a large creature emerged, pure white eyes, a segmented body, multi-jointed clawed arms, and six spike like hind limbs, it bellowed and fell completely limp, Alimur carefully approached it and decapitated the being, it didn't move an inch, the couple was unnerved by the encounter and decided to take turns watching over each other, as morning came and they left their tent the body was completely gone.
The duo was restless but continued on their path nonetheless, an encounter with a corpse of another creature and it turned to dust that slowly faded completely.
-These things are not native-
-More of the weird creatures?-
-I know every single threat in Grimacreage, whatever is doing this must be a problem-
-Wouldn't their deaths be just good overall?-
-What if it's some sort of illness?-
-I don't like to imagine that, can we keep moving?- Her voice slightly worried.
-It's best- Alimur beckoned to his wife.
Through dark forests and clear skies the couple arrive in a small village, Nirge, the people carefully watch the duo in an almost admiration, a scrawny Human approached and bowed to them.
