Chapter 49: Blessed Reunion

His armor no longer shined, his sword a black abyss, his arm twisted into a beast's.

Her armor reflecting the moon's glow, her spear a star of hope, her wings closer to a sun.

Alimur charged forward slashing vertically with all the might his one arm allowed, the wolf dodged narrowly and growled but it was stopped after a horizontal slash that it jumped over and behind the Human, it tried to bite him to no avail as the Eclipsion rolled away.

They fought in the dark clouds as the rain began to fall, Aurora spun her body grabbed a dark spear and threw it back at "Alimur", the Demi-Human charged and slammed against him throwing him down towards the dirt but the beast would not give in and it flew back towards the Eclipsion at full strength, she blocked it with her shield and pierced the shadow arm making the creature screech in pain.

"This is it"

Aurora kicked the beast aside and flew further from it, the rain wetting her white hair and cooling her heated body, she created an orb of pure light and charged it as much as she could, "Alimur" was fast approaching but as soon as it reached her the orb exploded in a blinding light.

The wolf howled in pain and Alimur smiled taking this opportunity to charge through and stab it, the Human runned his blade through its chest and it began laughing, Alimur dug his blade deeper until he finally noticed a hint of pain, the wolf faded reappearing behind the Human and trying to bite his neck but he was too fast for the creature and Alimur pierced the wolf's chest earning a hiss from it.

Aurora grabbed "Alimur" and ripped off his black wings with her shield, as the beast fell she instinctively grabbed him only to be clawed in the side of her face only hitting the scales however, she grabbed his shadow arm and seared it with light making him howl again.

Despite the rain getting heavier the couple didn't get wet, the woman weaved the water to her will and the man followed closely behind, he pointed to a bright light just up ahead and they rushed together, the woman rushed in first and used the rain to form chains binding the shadow beast, Aurora looked at her and saw the man charging in blade ready to pierce the small opening on the helmet, the Demi-Human dived in and narrowly blocked the pierce.

-DON'T HURT HIM!- Aurora shouted with a hint of despair.

-Wasn't he attacking you?- The women vested in blue and white questioned.

-He's my husband, Alimur, he was tired and lost control of the Icon-

-Alimur?!- The man looked closer at his helmet.

-Our son- The Woman whispered.

-Wait, you're Alonne Gaisgeach the Abyssal Blade-

-And this is Migoen the Raging Wave- Alonne explained.

-What happened to my son? And who are you exactly?- Migoen questioned with a coat of anger.

"Alimur" roared and broke the chains.

-I will explain everything, could you two distract him while I prepare to free him from this?- Aurora explained as quickly as she could.

Migoen charged in and punched her "son" in the face knocking off his helmet, Alonne charged with his blade coated in shadows from the ground and sliced vertically at his shadow arm, four more blades of pure darkness converged into the sword and he cut off the arm making "Alimur" shout in pain before quickly regrowing his arm.

-Alonne!!- Migoen shouted.

-That's not his real arm, focus on the arm, horns and tails-
