A mostly relaxing day for the couple as Aurora took the opportunity to teach her boyfriend how to properly and efficiently throw spears, Alimur was corrected many times after each failed attempt.
-Arm further back, eyes on the target- The woman commanded in a serious and relaxed tone.
The Human threw the spear and it grazed the wooden target.
-Close, but you need to focus a bit more-
-Sorry-
-Hehe, nothing to be sorry for, I love teaching you... just try to focus ok?-
-After you recover I can pass some hand-to-hand techniques to you as well-
-I'd love that, but right now focus on the target-
Alimur summoned another spear and threw it but missed again, Khim observed the couple from the doorway and soon went back into the house, the chimera sat on the sofa in front of her mother who was knitting then looked up and spoke in a half-mocking tone.
-Jealous?-
-What?!-
-Hehe, I tease-
-Look mom I just have a lot on my mind-
-And it'd be nice to have someone to help with it all-
-MOM! I just...-
-It's ok sweetie, I can imagine how hard your job is now-
-I want to, but... you know-
-I'm sure you will find a good man to go with-
-I'll worry about that later, right now a little unrest started and I'm ashamed to say I think it's good for me... but I can't let this problem continue- The chimera spoke in a somber tone.
-I wish I could help deary-
-Thanks either way mom-
The mother and daughter reminisced about their lion, sour memories turned sweet and the sweet ones grew in importance, the Human and Demi-Human continued the whole day training and the woman showed the man how it was done properly before the pains got to her, the couple rested peacefully on the bed, the mother hugged the covers tighter and the daughter solemnly caressed the bones.
Morning came and Alimur unlatched his lover's arms from him slowly rising in the process, with a look back at her he smiled calmly despite being awoken by anything but love, the Human dressed himself and summoned his arm to grab his snake bracelet... gazing longingly at his lost limb born anew and an effigy to his old love whose embers never truly faded, with a shake of his head he put on the bracelet and followed to both his necklaces... a friend's memento and a trinket to his own soul, he was ready but before waking Aurora up he dug through his bags and caressed the bestiary... flipping through the pages he smiled softly until the most recent addition.
-Razorwinds?- He whispered in confusion and found it to deepen further with the nameless beast... a flash, despite Nemea's godhood she cannot destroy them, he shook his head and focused on his last companion.
-Sal...- Alimur clenched his fist and unsummoned his arm.
-My love- He placed the bestiary back in the bag and sighed deeply.
The Human approached the Demi-Human and gently planted various kisses on her forehead but before he could distance himself the sleeping dragon grasped him and he got pulled into a deep kiss of tender lustful love that denied both parties air for several seconds, they separate and much to Aurora's dismay she fells a sharp pain and cannot continue her attack.
