Ant's short POV

As we're on the way to the gym, this fool Elijah won't stop talking about last night! I wish he'd shut up, last night was only step one of my plan. "Aye bruh, you heard me?" Elijah asked. "Nah man, my bad what you say?" "How did you get with Deja's twin of all people? Is she crazy like her too?" he laughed. "Nah man, she's cool. She is exactly what I need, you feel me?" "I feel you bruh, I hope it all works out for ya'll. Who knows, ya'll might end up like me and Miyah." he joked. I internally rolled my eyes, "Yeahh, I don't know about all of that. Speaking of, ya'll been together for a good minute. Since college days right?" "Yeah man, that's my lil boo thang." he said smiling as if he was thinking of her. "That's a long time man, ya'll ever had any bad days? You ever stepped on her?" I asked, trying to see if he knew anything about us from before. "Yeah man, we've had our good and bad days but it all comes with the territory, you know?" I shook my head like I understood. "But nah man, I never cheated. That whole Deja incident did a number on us and we went our separate ways for a while." he sighed and continued, "I remember one time in college we had called it quits and she told me she was messing with some dude but it just a one time thing, they never spoke after that." My jaw tightened as he finished his last statement, we did talk after that, a few more times actually. "Dang man that's rough." "Yeah but I love her man, always have. Everybody makes mistakes, you just have to be willing to forgive and work through it." Elijah said as they pulled into the gym parking lot. "I feel that bruh. Let's go get this work." I dapped him up and thought about how I was going to give Amiyah one more chance to make this work between us and if not, well as they say, If I can't have her, then no one will.
