𝗜 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗡𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧 Dasher is his name. Dasher also took Julian by surprise and stole blood. According to Logan...Julian was terrified. It all lingered in my mind as Julian took time to come back to us.

Terrified. He was terrified he said. And I'm not sure Lolita even cares about what's going on with Julian. She and Logan are always busy stinking up the place with their sexual incense.

And Dasher? He's been gone since he got here. Not that I care much about him. I sighed, my hand touching Julian's hand.

"Come on Julian. Wake up." It's been three days.

"Still nothing?" I looked up and saw Logan. He's wearing casual clothes and he smells like soap. I sat up completely and crossed my arms.

"What the hell happened out there?"

"I know you're upset about Julian, but I want you to know that Dasher is more than the real deal. I couldn't have avoided it even if I could've."

I was getting ticked off. "What are you an alpha for, Logan? Seems to me all you wanted to do was get laid."

"I don't care how mad you are. You're letting your emotions cloud your judgment. Like I said before, I couldn't have stopped it even if I tried. Dasher is no ordinary vampire, he's like Zion but worse."

"What even happened? And what are those marks for?"

"I don't know."

"You were there!" I sprang to my feet. "Now Julian's dying! But no, you get to be happy with Lolita right?! She wouldn't even be here right now if it wasn't for me! You only care about yourself. I may be your beta but as an alpha have some fucking respect for me too! I lost my sister and now I'm about to lose Julian all because you wasn't an alpha when you needed to be!"

Logan changed into his form and tackled me to the floor. He growled a long roar, shutting me up. He snarles, baring his teeth. I looked away, my fangs and nails setting back to normal.

"Sorry." I muttered. Nobody tells an alpha what to do, especially not Logan Reed. He just reminded me that even if he isnt hunting, or killing people, he's still an alpha and that I shouldn't forget it.

He switched back and pulled me to my feet, slamming me into the wall. "Logan I'm sorry I didn't mean to-

"Shut up. Don't you ever come at me like that again Cain. Don't think I won't tear you apart and think about it later. I'm the alpha, not you. And you know better than this."

"I'm sorry I-

"Shut. Up." He grits out. I could hear his teeth grind against each other. He's pissed off. "Dasher can not be beaten. So don't even try it. And as an alpha I don't only kill and mark territory. I use my fucking head when my beta is being stupid."

I didn't say anything. Logan let me go and stepped back. He heaved a sigh.

"Now that he's here, training for Lolita resumes. Whenever Julian wakes up, you go and get more vampires and find a practice spot for the other wolves under our wing. War starts soon."

With that he left.

I stood there for a while, not knowing what to do it say or even think. But I think it's because I'd been scolded. Logan hadn't put me check in a very long time. I clearly forgot what that was like until now.
