Walls Between Us (Vanitas x Reader) Vol. 3

Chapter 10: Oblivio

Ladybug and Cat Noir have lost their memory... and a mysterious villain is prowling around Paris. Will our amnesiac heroes manage to defeat Oblivio and turn him into just a bad memory?

You woke up and log out when Eternal pops up. "(Y/n) are you alright?"

You grunt. "I'm fine."

"Do you remember what happen?"

You hummed and then it hit you. "Oh Yeah, we were going on a field trip and then a black shadow figure was akumatized demon and then Ladybug and Cat Noir were trapped inside the elevator....leaving me and Sapphire trap in separate debris.....and that's what I remember."

"Oh thank goodness that you still remember." Eternal sighs in relief. "Oblivio erased Ladybug and Cat Noir's memories which only leaves you and Sapphire."

"Speaking of Sapphire....where is he? Does he remember?" you wondered.

"I think he does...just recover from his knock out."

You sigh. "In that case I cant waste anytime to sit around, I gotta refill your stomach so I can fight Oblivio."

You stood up and find something to feed your kwami. If this building have any cafe material as you slide down the hallway to the stairwell.

{~With Vanitas~}

Vanitas fed his kwami Echo and try to find Oblivio and fix this mess. It was acutely Marinette's fault for not listening to his warn and got stuck in the elevator.

 Suddenly his phone rang and he picks it up seeing Adrien's call.

Vanitas sighs and hanged up. "Sorry, but I can't answer you if you figure out who I am. I have to track down Oblivio, but first I gotta find (Y/n)."

He then enters the office and then he found Marinette and Adrein. He hides and make sure he doesn't show himself knowing that they don't remember he has to hide.

{~With (Y/n)~}

You made sure you found a cafe and luckily you pick up a bacon and feed Eternal when suddenly your phone ranged and answered it.

"(Y/n)? Are you okay? " it was your mom. "They're saying on TV that Dragon-Phoenix, Sapphire, Ladybug and Cat Noir are battling a supervillain  at Montparnasse Tower. Isn't that where you were going on your school trip today?"

"I'm okay mommy." You replied.  "And yes, everything's okay. I was just huddling with Jeanne and Domi.  Everything is okay."

"I'm so relieved. Whatever you do, stay there until the supervillain's been defeated."

"I promise I will. Love you!" You hang up.

Eternal flies over you. "So what now?"

"What's now is now that your fueled up, I must continue to find Oblivo. Duel Disk, Lock On! Into the Alter State!"

You transform into Dragon-Phoenix.

In the lobby. Hawk Moth is speaking as the villain looks around.

"Nobody? We must have missed something."  his light halo appears in front of the villain's vision  "They have to be inside the building, Oblivio.   Sapphire and Dragon-Phoenix can't have escaped. Retrace your steps. They must have transformed back by now. And with their memories erased, you won't have any trouble getting your hands on their Miraculous."
