Chapter 16: Gamer 2.0

Marinette is stressed because she has a lot of work to do: study for her history test, design Kitty Section's shirts, and make a poster for Jagged Stone. Your father invites your  to play Ultimate Mecha Strike III with him, and although Marinette really wants to, she turns him down since she has so much to do. 

Dejected, Tom asks Sabine why you and Marinette must grow up so fast, to which Sabine replies by saying that it's a part of life. The two decide to play Ultimate Mecha Strike together.

"So... paid vacation was instituted to allow workers to...?" Tikki started helping Marinette until...

The next day after finishing her history test, she fell asleep. "......take a break. Play video games." She soon wakes up and looks for test paper and finds it stuck to her face. " No! Found it! It really was just a dream. I filled it out. For real!" She gives the paper to Miss Bustier. "Now I just need to finish the last Kitty Section T-shirts, review my English lessons, and color paint."

"It's for my new video game." Max from a distance.

Marinette gasp back to reality.  "Ah, video games. Coloring the poster!"

"Oh, I'd love to test your video game, Max, but I promised Prince Ali we'd go on a charity cruise over the Seine on his yacht this afternoon. Sorry." Lila leaves.

"Kim!" Max called.

"Yeah?"

"Interested in playing the best fighting game in the world? 100% created by your best friend!"

"A fighting game... he designed himself!" Marinette day dreams again then she hit her head shaming herself. "Oh, what's wrong with me?"

"I'm sure I'd get the highest score. But I've got swimming practice. Ondine's waiting for me." Kim putting his swim wear on his head.

Max went to Alix. "Alix! You up for testing my game? I've included more than 50 characters and you can even loot their equipment."

"50! Loot! Ah! No, no, no, no, no..." Marinette does it again.

"No can do. I've got an in-line skate contest coming up. No winning without training." Alix leaves too leaving Max disappointed again.

Marinette is intrigued by the game, but knowing that she still has a ton of other stuff to take care of, she stops Max before he can even ask her, stating that she must resist the temptation before futilely trying to explain why she can't play with him. Chloé tells Max that the reason no one wants to play his video game is because everyone has a much more interesting life than him — even Marinette.

Marinette says that she wasn't just making excuses not to play with Max but has to take off before she can explain herself. Opening his locker, Max finds Markov and asks him if he'd like to play his new video game, but Markov turns him down since he's communicating with artificial intelligences to find a solution to global warming. Upset that no one wants to play with him, Max is akumatized by Hawk Moth into Gamer 2.0 who zaps previously akumatized villains into his life-sized video game dimension.

The arena is turned into Gamer 2.0's gaming dimension and Markov suddenly disappears along with Scene: The Principal's office. Mr. Damocles and Miss Bustier.

Vanitas was stretch his limbs while Adrien is fencing with Kagami when suddenly, she and Mr. D'Argencourt disappear. Adrien rushes into the restroom.
