"Don't be bemused, it's just the news! The Louvre Museum will be unveiling its latest acquisition today: a mysterious statue carved from hardened lava, which was recently discovered on the highest mountaintops of Tibet, by the museum's curator, Mr. Kubdel." Nadja Chamack announces the arrival of a new statue at the Louvre museum that Alim Kubdel discovered in Tibet.
"Adrien..." Marinette day dreams to admire her crush.
Alya gets irritated. " Marinette, I asked Alix to get us into this unveiling so I could show you what I figured out about superheroes. Not so you could gawk at Adrien. You can do that any day at school, girl."
"Super Adrien..." She has Marinette's attention who snaps out of it. " —ah, heroes! I'm all ears."
You sighed and shook your head.
Alya starts by informing. " Cool, so first you need to know that superheroes like The Foursome get their powers from magic jewels called Miraculous."
"You told me you're gonna stop researching Ladybug so you wouldn't jeopardize her secret identity!" Marinette stops her in order to avoid endangering her.
"Oh, I—I know. Except this research has nothing to do with her identity. I'm gonna help Sapphire unmask Hawk Moth! And I think I found a connection between superheroes, Hawk Moth, and the Miraculous." Alya whispers the last part to her.
"Okay, I'm convinced Sapphire, Dragon-Phoenix and other Miraculous holders have been depicted through the centuries. Until, for some unknown reason, they disappeared, and the world forgot about them. We already know this one. The Ladybug from Ancient Egypt." Alya explains. She points out the papyrus showing the ancient Egyptian Ladybug along with a portrait of a knight who appears to be a Cat Miraculous and the Bat Miraculous.
"Here, a black knight, or Black Cat Miraculous holder along with the Dark Bat knight come on!" She grabs you and your sisters wrist. " And this one: a Goddess of birds or dragons. " she continued. " Here, a lady, or a Butterfly superhero. Now this, Hercules, or Lion Miraculous holder."
"Okay, so now there's a Lion Miraculous?" Marinette scoffs.
"It could possibly happen." You shrugged.
"Why not a Bunny Miraculous while you're at it?" Alix jokingly suggesting by flopping her hands to pretend they have ears.
"What about a Dinosaur Miraculous?" You teased.
Alya goes on to say that statues were originally painted but most of the paint disappeared over time. " Now you know back in the day sculptures were painted, right? Most of the paint vanished over time, but tiny microscopic pigments still remain. Thanks to this special app, witness how it originally looked. But here's the big thing. All these works of art have something in common. It's the same symbol! Look, everywhere."
Vanitas hid and gasp when he imagines Master Fu's mission. He and Marinette recognizes the symbol as the one on the Miracle Box, and Alya concludes, "It's like some kind of secret society emblem. As if a kind of Order of the Guardians has been watching over the superheroes since the beginning of time!"
Alix takes note. "Huh, looks like the symbol on the Tibetan statue my old man found."
Meanwhile, when Mr. Kubdel unveils the statue he discovered, Nathalie is immediately shocked and drops the tablet she'd been holding.
"Nathalie, are you okay?" Adrien asked her.
"It's nothing, Adrien. Just a dizzy spell." Natalie smiles painfully.
