Chapter 18: Ikari Gozen

Mireille and Aurore announce Paris' annual Friendship Day where two people picked at random will go on an adventure across Paris in order to find where a celebrity is hiding, with this year's celebrity being Adrien. Adrien comes onscreen and greets everyone.

Marinette, who is watching the announcement with the girls on her computer, worries that they won't get her sign up text like last year, but Alya assures her that won't happen because unlike last year, she has her friends. Mireille further explains that once she pushes the button on her tablet, a riddle will be sent to everyone that will give them a clue to their first location where they will meet their new friend. 

From there, the duos must find more clues in order to eventually find out where Adrien is. Adrien pushes the button, and the girls all receive texts. Alya's location is Sacré-Coeur; Rose's location is the Ménagerie du Jardin des Plantes; and Alix's location is the Louvre. Juleka mumbles her location. However, Marinette is perplexed by the riddle she received.

Meanwhile with you, the game of friendship was not so interesting, but it seems fun. You were sitting on the bench in the park, just sitting silently. Your friends are participating this game accept you and Vanitas.

You were waiting for him to have another conversation. Though it appears that he has not appear for few minutes or so. It's almost sad that he kept you waiting about half an hour.

Something must have kept him from seeing you, but you don't understand what it is.

"I'm sure he'll come, and hang out with you." Eternal assured.

"It's been and hour, he should be here by now." You frown. "Have I said something wrong yesterday after when I said I liked him?"

"Maybe it struck him somehow." Eternal guessed. "You must've hit him to the core."

You frown more. "Then I guess my sudden confession must've broke him or something. I really suck at the word 'love or like'."

Eternal pats your cheek when she heard someone coming towards you at 9 o'clock and hide in your deck.

"(Y/n)!"

You perked up and see a familiar blue hair. "Kagami, good afternoon."

"Good afternoon to you too, are you alright?" Kagami looks concerned.

"I'm alright. I'm just enjoying bathing in the sun." You smiled.

"I see...in that case, I have a favor to ask of you." Kagami requested.

"Oh and what's that?" You curiously asked.

"It's...your sister Marinette. Could you help me become a better friend?"

You were slightly surprised and the smile with a nod that you accept. "Sure, I'll help as I could."

Kagami smiled back. "Thank you." she always knew she can count on you since you, Adrien and Vanitas are her first friend she made.

{~With Marinette~}

"Here we are! With one turn of a handle, I can raise the level. Ta-da! It's Canal Saint-Martin. The water rises when the locks are opened with the handle." Marinette arrives at Canal Saint-Martin.

"Very clever, Marinette!" Tikki complemented.

 "Now let's keep our eyes peeled. Hopefully my new friend is here somewhere." She waits for her new friend but is horrified upon discovering that it's Kagami with her little sister and gasp. "Oh no!"
