Luka is giving Marinette a guitar lesson, and her friends comment on how easy it is for Marinette to talk to Luka.
"You're so talented, Luka. How long have you been playing for?" she hands out a drink.
"Since I was in diapers." Luka strums his guitar as Marinette giggles.
"I get a feeling Marinette likes Luka a lot." Alix whispers to you and Alya.
"At least she can have a normal conversation with him without getting all, blahblah blahblah blahblah blahblah!" Alya babbles.
"I guess you mean not like when she's with Adrien." Mylène thought.
"And at least Luka gets to go out whenever he wants." You read your gag manga. You don't understand what is with Marinette's deal already. She gets to be all lovey-dovey with Luka even though she wants Adrien instead and nobody sees anything wrong with it, but when she shows the slightest bit of affection towards Adrien, you get the stink eye?!
Vanitas, Adrien and Kagami arrive at the Liberty to join their friends. Mostly Vanitas wishes to see you a whole lot.
"They're so cute together." Mylène
"So true." Alix nodded.
"Sure are." Alya agrees.
"Ya think?" Vanitas deadpanned and spook the girls with his heavy bag.
"Vanitas!" You smiled.
"Ma Cherie..." Vanitas bows and gave you a kiss in your knuckles.
"I agree. That boy and your friend seem to get along very well." Kagami states professionally.
"Adrien! Kagami! Van!" Alya shrieks.
"Your father let you out?!" Alix asked.
"We're officially at fencing practice right now, but -- Oh, no, Kagami. Isn't this the wrong address?" Adrien gasps in faux-shock.
"Oh, dear, I think you're right." Kagami replies, just as playfully as he is. Adrien and Kagami chuckle.
"I got a bad vibe their feelings for each other won't last a bit." Vanitas mutters and brought you closer to him by the waist.
Marinette catches the two smiling and laughing together, her originally happy and comfortable expression falling into a pained once again.
"It's a good thing Adrien and Vanitas found someone they can get out of the house with at last." Luka watch with a knowing look that you and Vanitas grew to love each other very soon and he was proud of you.
Marinette perks up when she sees Adrien waving at the two. Luka waves back, but Marinette is suddenly thrashing her way out of Luka's hold, borderline slamming the guitar back into his grasp, picking up the extra juice that you had left out for Kagami and Adrien before heading your way over.
"... Hi, Adrien. It's cool you couldn't come alone. Oh-I mean, you came with someone." Marinette giggles nervously. "Hey Kagamoo-- Ah, Kamoogi-- Uh Kagami..."
"Nice to see you too, Marinette. Have you come to watch your boyfriend rehearse?" Kagami mistakes Luka for Marinette's boyfriend she stammers, finding herself looking between Adrien and Luka for a moment.
"I will NOT be your second choice!" Anarka shouting from the boat's deck above.
"You've always been my muse, please!" Another voice begs.
"Kagami might be on to something, you know." Alya holds Marinette back.
"Luka? You know he's just a friend." Marinette just about slams the tray of juice in her hands down.
