"Zoro I feel like going for a walk."

"Hmm?" He opens his eye.

I stand up, "I want to go for a walk. Come on, I want to see how the village is today."

He gets up and groans, "if we have to."

We make our way to the gate. "Where are you two going?" Nami comes over.

"We're going for a walk ~ Care to join us? ~"

"No, I've got work to do."

"What work? I thought we worked out all the expenses. The people have money and can live comfortably."

"Luffy our problem..."

"Oh, we'll be fine. He's a growing boy after all."

"What about Zoro?! He's always drinking!?"

"He's a thirsty boy."

Zoro smirks at Nami.

"It's alcohol!?"

"It's like water for Zoro. Come for a walk, it'll be relaxing ~"

"I'm okay. I'm going to go see Nojiko afterwards."

"Okay, tell her I said hello. Don't forget to take the basket. I'm sure Zeff will make something for you both ~"

"I will ~"

Zoro and I head through the gate and walk down the stairs.

"You've really changed this palace and the empire."

"Thank you, Zoro ~ Really it wouldn't have happened without yours and Luffy's help ~" He looks down at my hands. "How many times do I have to tell you to stop worrying about them? I can still use them, so stop it."

"It was my fault he did that to you."

"It was father who did it, not you." I put my arm around his. "Let's get lost ~"

"I don't get lost!"

"Yes, you do ~"

"Look we're outside the walls ~" I hold onto his arm tighter. "Protect me dear swordsman ~"

"We'll head back -" He turns around the gate gone.

"Admit it ~"

"No..."

"Admit it ~"

"No..."

"Come on Zoro, you know we're lost."

"Argh..."

"Hmm?" I look around.

Zoro pushes me behind him. "Stay behind me," he holds his katanas.

"Sounded like someone was hurt."

"It could be an ambush." The bushes rustle, "when I say run head back to the village. No, buts!"

"Okay," I'll send Luffy out admittedly.

The rustling gets louder, "argh..." A blonde-haired man falls over.

"The ambush was quite lazy," I look around Zoro.

"Stay behind me."

I look down at him, "he's not moving." Hmm? His clothes look royal. I don't recognize the family."

Zoro poke him with Sandai Kitetsu. "Oi! Your pathetic ambush didn't work."

He lifts his head, "shut... up..." He faceplants the dirt.
